Great job! Very polished platformer!
We all know Fleebus is the star here. I really liked the level design in the more vertical narrow portions of the game
Great level design, all by the book, a lot of people try platformers in game jams and fail spectacularly, but you did a perfect job, no tricky spike, no sneaky enemy or platform. You never tried to trick the player into dying. You gave the player the tools and if they lost it was their own fault. That's how platformers should be. Also nice graphics, I don't know if it's a premade tileset or you made it yourself but well presented, polished, even pitch shifting for the jump sound, it seems you know what you're doing, overall great job!
Thanks so much! So glad you enjoyed the game! We made all the art ourselves and actually focused on sprites a bit too much--we had very little time to do level design after spending a lot of time making art, lol.
Great job with this. I really like the crisp graphics and well thought out levels. It's discouraging when I fall on a tricky jump near the end of the level and have to go all the way back as progress loss is quite substantial, but it adds tension near the end and makes the game more skillful :)
Fun platformer! Very nicely polished, the controls felt great. I really enjoyed the art and music/sounds.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Solid little platformer. The first 2 levels were really chill, and then the last one just cranked up the difficulty. I managed to beat it at least. I like how each level had a palette swap, and how the 2nd BGM was a more chill version of the first. If not, I'm not mistaken, though the 3rd BGM was also a different arrangement, I thought I heard the same chord progression, but I could be wrong.
Anyways, I had fun with this and liked the art style as well. Some very tight jumps I didn't think were going to be possible, but were.
Thanks! I did all the music in order to try to improve at it, and all 3 of the level themes have a melody/progression in common, though the third one is a bit harder to catch. Glad you enjoyed!
Appreciate the comment! Apologies for the difficulty spike in the 3rd level, that was all me lol. Deadlines were running short so I just came up with whatever was in the top of my mind, with us not really having time to balance it like we did with the first 2 levels. Glad to see you enjoyed it though.
