The game needs some polishing, the gameplay feels too clunky. The movement speed is way too fast, and the gravity is super weird, there is no acceleration when we jump, just slow linear speed going up, then the same going down. The introduction should also be faster or skippable.

I got stuck in the second section because I went straight to the closed doors and couldn’t get back up.

The idea is good, and the artstyle is nice, it deserves some improvement.

Try and let the player control the pace of dialogue more, rarely will skipping a dialogue ruin a game. It soon ended, but I already started writing this because the pace was too slow.

The game is fun, looks good, and appears well play tested. It feels like the games I used to write, when I could code everything but didn't want to let the engine do it for me. The gravity struck me as particularly stark. Not in a bad way, but floating was not what I would have expected. I don't think there was gravity because I could steer into a wall and remain suspended. Maybe that was intentional but I didn't find a use for it.

That's my only issue with the game, everything else was good.

thanks for the compliment :D

i was going to put the dialogue in the level as a pop up like how most other games do but didn't have enough time to figure it out

ill probably update descend with more qol and levels that use the stick to wall mechanic after the voting time :)

Neat little puzzle game, with some nice puzzle platform elements. I got stumped in the room in which the eye follows your movement, blocking your exit. I feel like asking you for a hint lol.
