Simple but fun. Gotta give a shout out to the car game buddy!

The driving is fun but I wish that drifting had more purpose as its possible to just accelerate all the way.

Playing this made me realize how much I want a full racing game with Hololive tracks!

I'm working on it

Short and sweet, doesn't overstay its welcome.

I do wish drifting is a little more essential in the level design since that is usually the main point of these games.

Good job overall, thanks for making this!

It was fun! Carbonated Love is such a banger, makes zooming around in the Hope-mobile even better.

It's a simple game, but works great, although I didn't really use the drift button.

I was curious how far you can go and discovered the void, that was funny (always love it when you can just go and explore the map in a racing game)

Great job!

THAT WAS FUN!!

I really enjoyed the gameplay along the song, it really felt great ^_^

The first section seems to be the most difficult (I was getting frustrated because I didn't get to hear more of the song) so the balance may be a little off, but all in all is a pretty solid entry, congratulations :D

The drift wasn't how I expected it to be but once I got the hang of it I was able to make a full run without getting out of the path. That felt good. And that's the main feeling I got from your game: it feels good!!

Thanks, you left a smile on my face ^__^

PS: At one point the song reminded me of Slayers first OP and that gave me an extra burst, such a good song (both of them), hehehe~

Nice BGM selection!

I liked the staged approach to the time trial. Reach the checkpoint in time to continue the race!

I never used the drift button as driving normally seemed fine. In fact, I tried it on my second run and it was overall worse as it made the car go off the track.

I wonder if you planned to have some sharp curves that required drifting but ran out of time to implement them or some other system where drifting gave an advantage?

Some improvement suggestions:

- Add sound effects to the car! Engine and tire noises!

- Add some cool speed lines when going fast!

- A speedometer would also help give a better sense of speed.

- Add particle effect smoke on the tires when drifting!

Good game.

Hey! One thing I'd be wary of is how strong you make the turns if you want to have brakes in the same system. I think if you add that, the car will feel much more interesting to control. Can't go wrong with Carbonated love.

The brakes turned out to be totally unnecessary. It seemed like the track was repeating, though. I think this game is best if the player doesn't actually feel like playing so much as zoning out. I'm as big into Irys's music as the other singers in Hololive, though, so I'm not sure if that fits this track.

I swear, Carbonated Love makes everything better.

Fun idea for a game, I think one thing that could immediately bump it up would be a leaderboard (even if its just anonymous) - not sure how hard that would be, but I know you have some networking chops Cube...

But having that as an extra incentive to keep playing would be great!

Drifting felt a little janky, could be that it needs to be tightened a bit, or maybe just a skill issue on my end. On a second run through I got a little bit of a better handle, but still feel like it could be tweaked to use over just regular turning, since you can make all the checkpoints without drifting (albeit a little close). But taking some inspiration from other racing games and tying a boost to a successful drift would also help increase the skill ceiling and give players reason to keep playing and practicing.

Otherwise fun little game, and bonus points for Irys, in my book!

Fun quick game!

Carbonated love makes all driving better!
I didn't actually realize I could drift on my first playthrough, and won anyway. I then tried to play again while using the drift button and constantly flew off the course, so I think it would be nice if the course and physics were more suited to using drifting to get max speed
