This was fun! I liked how simplistic it was, perfect for a mini game. It was a bit too quick if you weren't really good at it, so maybe giving the player 3 tries automatically would be best? I wasn't sure what the circle thing was, I thought maybe it would pull the ship towards it, but that didn't seem like it did that. Anyway, good job!

Thank you! It was super fun making it :)  Yeah, my first version had even more difficult controls and then I realized noone would be able to do anything :D

The circle actually does have gravity and it increases as you get closer, but it was difficult to get it to be strong enough you feel it, but not too strong that you can't escape. It actually helps you make that first bend, but only if you don't slow down too much - if you do, then you'll definitely feel the pull :D

Nice ! One of my favorite submissions. Super simple, I knew exactly what the goal was and wanted to play a few times. I really dig the art and music as well.

Thank you for playing and the kind words :)  Maybe the first time someone complimented my art haha. Music was downloaded from opengameart, under CC0 licence :)

I love this game! Easy to understand, hard to master. The ship's heading was not unclear to me. Very well scoped for the minigame jam, easily one of my favorites.

Thank you! I had a lot of fun making it, glad you love it :D

Wow really cool physics in this game! I didn't ever make it to the end, but I had a lot of fun flying off into space XD! Since it was so hard, having one map was nice to try to replay over and over, but it would be cool to work on map generation or a few different rotating maps for the future design. It took me a minute to realize that it mattered which direction the ship was facing. I noticed that it had a helpful back dot denoting the front, but I think maybe a bigger icon, or a different ship design would facilitate that realization a bit better. Really fun though! I feel like I need to try it over and over, I want to get to the end!

Developer

Thank you! Yeah, if I continue this project, I'm planning on adding other maps (probably hand made, but I was also thinking about map generation, will see what works best) and other map elements.

And yes, currently the ship is too small to see the orientation clearly, I also had similar comments, will need to work on it if I continue :)

Glad you had fun!
