It's fun getting tossed around by bombs :D
Like others mentioned, I dodged them at first thinking they will hurt me.
Also, I would increase the spawn rate of coins (even if it would mean the possibility of having multiple coins on screen), since sometimes I would have several seconds of not having anything to do. I would also increase the time they remain on screen since I could almost never get to them on time - even if I was right underneath, the bomb would launch me too high and by the time I fell, the coin would be gone.
But, very fun, picking up coins is always satisfying in my book :D
Fun game! It was funny when a bunch of balls hit you and you just go flying! Since it has a set time, I think the speed of the balls do ramp up, but it would be fun if the last 4 seconds you really had to dodge a bunch of them to get the coins. Good job!
I really liked the mechanic of using the bombs to bounce around. I also agree that platforms in the middle or floating collectibles would be a fun way to get more use out of it. Higher, more difficult to reach coins could also be worth more points.
Really fun. I like the spinning starfish :D Also took me a while to understand that the balls don't hurt you - once you've figured that out, it becomes a lot easier. I agree that a platform in the center would have been interesting. Did you try a more bouncy starfish bubble?
Nice subversion of the avoiding falling balls trope, tricky tricky. I was initially avoiding them until I accidentally got hit. It would have been really funny to watch this one on stream. I think it would have been cool to put more platforms in the middle space to try to get coins, but maybe that would have led people to realize they should get hit by the balls too fast? Not sure if hiding the mechanic was intentional.
