Amazing game! One rule clarification question: It says under Movement: “All pieces initially slide toward the opponent’s side of the board.” Does that mean each tile has to slide once first, before it can capture?

In other words, is starting with the captain sliding always fatal? :)

Yes! Starting with the captain will get it captured.  =^)  

I see, makes sense. Thanks for your reply! So in the sentence in the rules, initially is just ment as at the beginning of the game, as there are no captures to make, not the initial move of the pieces.

I might beed to rethink the wording for that sentence =^). What I mean is when pieces move, they move toward your opponent’s home row. Once they are in the opponent’s home row, that piece changes direction and now moves back toward your own home row.
