Simple concept and a pretty fun game. Love the animations. Played several times, so it's engaging :D  Basically, perfect for a minigame

Cool idea for a mini game! Character was cool and I loved the slash animation. I think having the item moving towards the player be a fireball or arrow or something that shows they will be hurt if it hits them would be helpful. The first time I played it I wasn't sure what was doing on because I didn't know what the orb was. Also, a few times I really felt like I didn't get hit but the game was over, so I wonder if making the collider just a hair smaller than the object would be a little helpful. I think some sounds would have really helped it become a complete game, but either way, you did a great job. Well done!

Totally agree with 8mobius8, the animation is super and the character art conveys so much in a limited number of pixels, awesome job! In the beginning I could actually just hold down my directional keys and spam slice. It would be nice to actually require accurate timing to hit the balls with slightly longer cool-down between swings. But that technique didn't work out when the balls started coming in more anyways XD. A fun play!

Nice smear frames on the sword swings!

It left me wanting a little more variation in the incoming projectiles, but I felt like it’s a solid concept.

It took me back to fighting Ganondorf in Ocarina of Time when he would throw his magic projectiles at Link and you had to swing at the right time.

thanks for the feedback!! the game was rushed but maybe i can come back to it.
