Missed opportunity to call it robocrop! xD
Likes:

  • Background music
  • Chill farming sim
  • Sprinkler mode
  • Graphics are consistent pixels
  • Colors are atmospheric

Critiques:

  • Planting can not be held down unlike soil and water mode
  • No audio que for the modes working. Also no audio but buttons being clicked on
  • There seems to be no reason to use more than 1 crop other than the price difference

Other than that it is a very relaxing game with no rush to it just nice to watch crops grow.

Just found out you and mech farmer had the exact same concept in mind xD! /jam/godot-wild-jam-89/rate/4197644

Cool prototype. I can shoot seeds at distance! (and walk out of screen in some places).

It's a pity it got so underbaked. I see the theme is mostly incorporated to the "story" (The little of it is there anyway).

But I see a potential in this. Maybe further exploring of the setting and motivation to grow a specific crop would do it good (custom orders, different effects of the crops to the outcomes etc.)

Creative way to work the main theme into the lore. It would have been nice to see some intro inside the game which tells about it.

I couldn’t figure out why the seeds did never decrease, I guess the game didn’t get finished yet.

There is a lot of controls to remember beforehand and it would be nice to see some step-wise intro into the mechanics of the game.
