Use of the limitation
I made it about creating batteries and powering up a city to keep it over the power limit. The city keeps hungering for more and more power over time. I wanted to have a bonus state where the meter over a limit was "overpowered" and added more score but didnt get to it.
Cookies eaten
i had a poppyseed muffin from tim hortons earlier

I really like the visual and vibe of game, and the gameplay itself is fun! Great Job!
shame that the use of limitation could've made more sense, but i dig the "bejeweled timed"-like gameplay and how you're forced to potentially ruin your board with extra blocks, the clear patterns are pretty easy to tell at a glance by the shape of the block aswell, though it did take some time to realize, it's a clean game
Nicely packaged game from the art to the music to the gameplay. Super cool that it’s made using Bevy. Great work!
Really polished gameplay loop! Super fun to play! The gameplay, art and music all work together to make a great experience!
Cool
A fun play on the Tetris formula, having to balance the three different colour types while that timer constantly kept me on edge made for a really fun, exhilirating gameplay loop. I think the shapes you have to make and the patterns you are given were nicely chosen too, they give room for some interesting plays. It's also a nice little touch that you have different names for all the different rankings, makes me wanna do better just to get a cooler title.
awesome game! I appreciate the art and the use of relaxing colors. The mechanics is easy to understand and gives a good learning curve. This has really good replay value, and I enjoyed playing this one! Congratulations ! keep it up!
That was fun to play - kinda felt like Tetris. The background music was very nicely chosen
Really cool puzzle and minimalisitic design.
Very sick, one of my favorites so far! Feels like it could easily get addicting, reminds me a lot of tetris with the build up of messy tiles and the calm music juxtaposing the chaos was really good
Really nicely done! Game looks slick. GG
Really clever puzzle block design with clear rules and nice constraints. The battery illustrations do a great job showing how things should line up, and the fixed array of incoming blocks is a smart way to force risky decisions and mess with your plans. Everything feels well executed, and the music fits the game perfectly. Great job!
Nice idea, i loved it and it felt really frenetic... Also loved the audio and the art, couldnt keep up with the rythm after 3 star, im getting old HAHAHA
Very satisfying. Well made game!
Really well-executed and simple matching puzzle grid idea. Before I get into that, I gotta say, the music was fantastic and an absolute bop that fit the theme of the game. Props to you for making that in Bitwig. For the puzzle itself, I think the idea's effective - the appeal is that there's always residual pieces, so the challenge of the game comes from cleaning up your own mess from loose parts, in a way. The atypical configurations made this much less Tetris-like and more unique, by making it a little more complex to consider how to pair things together. I found the game took a little while to see my errors pile up to a point where I had to start being more conservative with my placement, but the increasing levels and time limit get there eventually with the pace. The end-game grades are fun to boot. For constructive criticism - the player buy-in to the matching can take a moment. Even though it's explained at the start, it does take a little bit to remember what's what - an tooltip or onscreen element to remind players somehow could help. Very well done and great game!
Pretty cool game! I feel like in such an oversaturated market of games, you were able to take this genre and take a unique spin on it! Good stuff, and especially by yourelf and in such a small amount of time
Nice! I really enjoyed playing it :D
Really fun game. I didn't exactly know what I was doing but it was kinda addicting
This is a banger. Music is great, really clean vibe and style that match the gameplay perfectly. With a bit of tasteful (feels embarrassing to type this...) "juicy" effects and animation when lining up the rows and this one could be a real winner. Could see a version of this with challenge levels, things that move and block your progress, and maybe even environmental factors that move your pieces around. (Maybe that's all in there but I'm not very good at this lol) Watch out Peggle
I don't usually enjoy puzzle games but the "one more round" factor is strong with this one. The timer was a great idea.
Almost level 8!
