Solid incremental game. I feel like there is a lot of room to continue expanding on this idea. Awesome submission
Thank you so much for playing and for the kind words! <3
Really fun take on the number go up genre! It took my far too long to realize I could re-route where my potions were going. Once I did, I became unstoppable!!

It's also really cool to see everyone's setups. I'm not nearly as neat and organized, but I made it work. Really awesome game and a solid entry, nice job!
Thank you so much for playing! Glad you enjoyed it :D
Don't blame your setup, it has it's charm! Everyone is free to do what they want that's the whole point hahaha
Great sound effects for the potion creation! I do feel that if there was potion mixing to give purpose to the older stations it would definitely improve the complexity! Sadly it looks like the web export disabled the music looping on my end :( It was a great song while it lasted! Really appreciated the menu giving all the instructions.
Thanks a lot for playing and for the feedback DefectiveDev! <3
Glad you liked the sfx and music. It was my first time working with Sfxr to make sound effects, it's definitely a great tool! Also I'm very sorry about the looping. I've just had a discussion about it and it should be fixed now :D
I feel like a lot of people are having the same idea about the potion mixing (which definitely makes sense!). I actually plan to make a cauldron, that lets you mix potions together to create something new (maybe bi/tricolor potions?? :o). I guess I'll see when developping it!
Pretty satisfying feeling to increase the level of the potion you can make. I did it to the last possible potion, but it feels like at least one more mechanic, like mixing the potions, would increase playability a lot. Good job overall!
Thank you so much for playing Bazitor! <3
Good job on making it to the last one. I agree the game is pretty (really) empty right now, in terms of content. I'd say it's almost out of theme because of that... but I'm gonna work on it after the jam, since I've had a blast making it! :D
good luck!
This was a cute, little, idler game. I liked that once you got you enough funds, you could just have fun making various designs with the different colors. When I realized you could overlap the generator grids, I was slightly hoping I could make additional colors in the spaces where they overlapped. I’m not sure if being able to overlap grids was intentional or not, but I could see it being a fun way to add new colors for layout designs, or potions for additional funds.
The chests opening when you clicked on them was a nice touch.
The SFX worked well. I did find it a little odd that you had a music volume slider, though I didn’t hear any music, even with it and my computer’s volume at max. Background music could be a nice touch, though if you aren’t planning on adding any you may want to remove that slider.
The white text on the light colored background was a little difficult to read, particularly the smaller error messages such as not having a generator selected. Using a darker font color or adding a small background like you do for the money or the options menu would help a lot with that.
The potion art was nice. I liked that they were all slightly different in shape and that you used contrasting colors for the shapes that were closer to each other.
Thank you so much for playing and for all the awesome feedback Songbird!
The overlapping was intentional, however some people managed to exploit it... a LOT. They managed to place chests all around a single generator, that was really funny to watch haha
There is a music slider because there actually is music in the game. However I noticed that the web export broke the looping part (so the music only plays once and then it's just infinite potions and selling sounds going brrr)
Glad you liked the sfx!
The "error" messages were actually made in a rush in the last minute, because I felt like the game was lacking feedback for the player (it was just playing the "error" sound and nothing else). But as you stated, white on a very light color clearly doesn't help! I added that to my todo list :D
I actually really like your idea of mixing colors between eachother! I'm going to have to decide between this or removing the overlapping... though decision!
Nice submission! This is a really good prototype, and I love where this is going! The sound effects are super satisfying.
Thank you so much for playing Pebble! Glad you enjoyed it 😁
I'm very happy that so many people appreciate the sound effects ❤️
A technical feat for a game jam, good luck continuing the project would love to see more depth.
Thank you so much for playing! I really enjoyed watching the replay of your livestream.
About the theme, I really made this game thinking about the theme, but overscoped so much that I had to find some way to make it fit with what it currently has lol
There was supposed to be a lot of ways to reuse the potions and other resources together to create new stuff and all that, but I was wayy too ambitious.
I really loved how you took the time to screenshot the game to do a colorblind test. That is honestly a very good point that I need to work on! Adding that to my list.
Also, the fact that you've tried to let it run in the background really made me smile, as this is kind of the essence of idle game 😁
Thanks again a lot for all the feedback you gave and for playing! ❤️

I really like idle/automation games, I liked the art :)
Thank you so much for playing! Glad you liked the art ❤️
Most of the main sprites were made by heyitswidmo, big props to him for the amazing work!
Fun! We like the sound!
Thanks for playing! ❤️
Glad you had fun hehe
You get bonus points for making a factory automation game in a jam! I have considered this before but always figured it would be impossible to complete in time. I assume your original intent was to use the repurposing theme around some production chain and transformation mechanics? Either way, for as simple as it is, it's still a fun little time waster and the sound effects in particular are really satisfying! I hope you continue working on this as I'd love to play it with some production chains set up!
Thank you so much for playing SlightlyMadman! I'm glad you liked it ❤️
Yeah my original intent was to have much more generator types and some generators that would fuel other ones. I even thought of generators that would require material from recycled resources to be placed... or smelters to transform the empty bottles into glass to create new generators... well... I definitely overscoped hahaha.
I will definitely continue working on it. Thanks for your feedback, interest, and for the kind words! 🙏
Only the center of a potion generator needs a valid tile, so you can do stuff like this, or even have the potion generators overlap a fair bit.
Thank you so much for playing and for the feedback! I was aware of the overlapping being a thing but I felt like it could make the player able to make some kind of generator clusters. However I was not expecting the chests being placed that way lol. I will patch it after the jam to fix all overlapping, that would make more sense. I'll had that to my todo list. Cheers!
I would have liked to have some factories require other potions as inputs. Something like Red+Blue needed to make the much more valuable Purple
Thank you very much for playing Wyatt! ❤️
That was kind of the plan in the beginning, I've been working on some mining generators that would mine powder, that could then fuel the potion generators. There also was supposed to be glass bottle generators, and melters to melt the empty glass bottles after selling the potions, and much much more... This is the first time I've overscoped in a game jam, and I overscoped A LOT lmao.
I love the sound effects and movement, it makes the game feel super addictive!
It was so addictive I actually crashed my PC (in a good way lmao). I wanted to colour in every square (I was being super messy, just wanted the whole map coloured in) and here's were I got to before my PC crashed:
Firefox was screaming at me lol and I couldn't move the mouse to get a better screenshot, but that top right bit of the map was the only bit not coloured in.
My only bit of feedback was it felt a bit easy (I got to a point where I was making money faster than I could spend it within maybe 10 or so minutes), but I think getting the difficulty right on game jams is really hard (my game is also too easy so I 100% understand). Maybe a specific goal of "earn x amount" could help too.
But overall I really really liked it, its a really good incremental game!
Woooooooooooooooooow what a factory!! I'm actually very surprised someone even went that far! I'm really sorry for the crash, I didn't have that much time at all to playtest, let alone make such a big factory lmao.
I am so glad you liked it, this is the first time someone gives me such feedback on one of my gamejam games ❤️
About the difficulty, it is 100% too easy as you stated, I didn't have time to adjust the numbers. There was also supposed to be some interaction between machines : potions were supposed to be created with powder, glass bottles and water... let's say I definitely didn't have time to do that, so I cut it down a lot to atleast have a working game hahaha.
I also wanted to make either a timer to make the most money possible, or a "earn x amount" as you mentionned, but didn't have time for that either. I do plan on continuing the development as this is the first game jam game I make that I feel like could go further :D
In the end, thank you sooo much for playing and I'm glad you had fun! Your comment really made my day ❤️
I love crafting games, so this amused me. The chests were a neat way to multiply.
Once the crafting got going it went pretty fast. I would've liked to see how much money each potion made. That was unclear to me.
Fun distraction for a few minutes. A cookie clicker with some interaction!
Thanks a lot for playing! I'm glad you liked it, cool factory too! :D
The price of each potion is actually written under each generator in edit mode, right after the price of the generator. Now that you mention it, it's true that it's not very clear, I'll have to improve that. Thanks for the feedback! ❤️
Cool that you put in sound settings. The controls feel just right. I like how you visualized the machines doing work with their cables / pipes.
I remember your last jam game, that was fun too!
My factory:
Thanks a lot for playing! Cool factory 🔥
I was not expecting that you were actually going to draw stuff using the generators lmao
Didn’t really feel like there was a strategy other than building more generators.
Well yeah... there was supposed to be some drills producing powders to fuel the potions factory and much more, but I overscoped so much hahaha 😅
Thanks for playing!
