Pretty fun and ambitious with a lot of characters to choose from! Nicely done

yoooo i love the 2.5D artstylee!! also the characters designs are impeccable, and the gameplay feels very good!! great job man!

Really nice 2.5D side-scroller, it's very pretty to look at and controls really well. The heroes feel floaty but still super responsive, so great job tuning the movement. Shooting feels satisfying, and by around level 5, I definitely felt that overpowered, laser-destruction vibe. The projectile blast ended up being my go-to thing to spam lol. Having multiple heroes to choose from was awesome too, and I had fun seeing how differently they played.

Hello! Thank you for rating my game. I want to rate your game back, but I’m not able to download executable files / other people’s games at the moment. Would it be possible for you to include a web build for this submission?

Developer(+1)

I did do a web export but it was pretty large and unoptimized for the web.  I will take a few minutes this morning and see if I can trim it up and get one posted

Developer(+1)

I couldnt upload it to Itch due to the size, but I did place it on my site:

https://adamsgames.net/games/redline

your welcome to test it there.  it will have some performance stutter that you dont see on desktop, as I have not optimized or cached and preloaded assets and shaders for the web.

Thank you for the web build! I rated it already, I’ll just write my comment in a while.

Impressive you got a game done in 72 hours with this many characters in it! Not sure its intentional but I managed to feel ridiculously overpowered by hanging out off screen and just cheesing everybody hah.

Whatever works, right!

This is one of the best submissions. A game this big made within 3 days blew my mind. Great concept.

Developer

Thanks!  Much appreciated. It was really fun for a weekend build.

This was so much fun! The visuals were really unique and the level of mayhem was a thing of beauty!

This game really makes you feel like a superhero in a movie. More specifically, I felt like an action figure superhero haha. The VFX explosions are my favorite part. The boss fights did get a bit repetitive after encountering the fifth one. I was hoping for more variation at that point. Also, the Ion Mother's projectiles were too small. That's an easy fix, though. I did feel powerful as hell with that huge laser beam coming out of my face!

I had a a lot of fun, and it brought back memories of playing with action figures :) Great work!

Nicely rounded for a shoot-em-up and the game's superhero concept fits into the theme. Having mutliple heroes and different models helps replayability a bit, and I really liked quickly discovering that the power-up abilities were insanely more useful than the laser. The flavour text on the power levels was a nice little comic touch. For balancing, I wonder how you could gate the use of the power-ups progressively to make the player slowly ease into the sense they're becoming insanely powerful? I felt invincible pretty quickly, but I gotta say, it was a good feeling! Nice work!

Thanks for the feedback!

Blew my mind when I realized I could fly to the right and shoot backwards. Great game!

Glad you liked it.  The flight mechanics were fun to make
