It was very visually appealing and the movements felt very smooth - although took me quite some time to figure them out :) Good game!
Thanks for feedback!
It was pretty funny, i liked it
Thanks for playing!
A fun take on a lemmings-style game, I enjoyed having more control over my character than what you would usually expect from this genre. The music and artstlye were very pleasing, and the levels were nicely put together, Great job!
Thank you for kind words! Glad you liked it :)
Clever, charming puzzle game with a really unique idea that puts a fresh spin on the theme. I played this one all the way through and had a lot of fun with it. Constantly tuning the slider and hoping I'd found the right balance was a great loop. I like how it made me question whether a failure was my execution or a poor stat allocation. One thing I found myself wanting was a way to look around the level between runs, which could involve some trial-and-error and allow for more strategic planning (and help my terrible memory lol). The pixel art looks great, the music is upbeat and catchy, and overall, this was an awesome game.
I'm pleased to hear that! Super glad to see you've enjoyed some time with it :)))))) I love making games for moments like this. Thanks for playing, means a lot❤️!
Fantastic concept and visuals! I think it's definitely worth taking this idea further after more feedback and testing.
Thank you so much for kind words❤️
This game is very polished, but I found some of the buttons to be unintuitive. I didn't even realize speed and strength had buttons until I reread the controls. I also encountered an oddity where the box would get stuck to the edges of the hold and made the level practically impossible. I like the resource management aspect, but I feel it could be pushed further. Maybe having each button drain power per use. I could feel the basis of this, but the current power loss system almost felt time based rather than use based. overall, very good!
Sup! Thanks for feedback! Power loss system is actually indeed time based except jump action which is use based. That is because it wouldn't make sense for speed action that lets you move so it has to be time based to avoid infinite energy. Same with strenght. But yeah, you got a point, current system is a bit shallow. Anyways, thanks for playing! Apreciate that, really :)
Very high presentation, loads of polish and care went into this!
The concept is clever, and having a bit of thought needed before trying to execute a puzzle is interesting. The use of 'overpowered' as a flaw rather than something beneficial to the player, while still having it in the player's control, felt extremely clever to me.
I'm happy to see you like our vision! Thanks for playing, apreciate that, really :)
Its a very nice concept, i love the mechanics, the music and sfx are sweet, and the art is beautiful, i like the screen look u implemented
Glad you liked!❤️
I like the idea you've gone for here and won't repeat what others have said but there is definitely loads of potential here. I feel like increasing the power and limits would definitely lean more into the limitation because at the moment it feels more limited than overpowered (in my opinion, anyway)
Thanka for feedback! The limeted overpowered was on purpose! We wanted to make player regret making q aspect completely overpowered😅 Thanks for playing :)
Nice retro pixel-art, the controls are a bit weird tho. The idea is very unique as well.
Thanks for playing!
UPDATE 1.2: Sliders set up now saves after retrying or passing to the next level according to your feedback. Thank you!
The mechanics are quite unique but it’s also a bit unintuitive as the others have said. Maybe it’s just my own skill issue though.
It was probably by design, but I found the speed difficult to use in conjunction with the jump. For example, you need to time the jump right, however the speed made you go a bit fast and it’s difficult to anticipate when to press jump. When you put too little speed though (because I want to go slower to time the jump), the player may run out of juice too soon.
I suggest maybe a way to change the intensity of the variables before you use them, perhaps with sliders next to them. For example, choosing to go at a slower speed would cost less speed juice, choosing to jump shorter would also do the same. Something like that. That’s just my thoughts though.
I think that the design of a puzzle based around allocating resources to your abilities is really interesting. Good job with the game!
Golly! Thank you very very much for such detailed comment, never actually got that long haha. You got that right! Quick timings were meant to be challenging by desighn but we might have made them too annoying and thats never good. (Exept maybe geometry dash). Thanks for feedback! I will look onto this. Btw I Just updated the game and sliders set up now saves after retrying. Once again, thanks for playing :)
Cute design and an interesting mechanic system. As others have said it's not the most intuitive to use. I second the idea that the bars shouldn't reset when you fail. This has the potential to be expanded on as a game. Good work!
Thanks for feedback! Apreciatte that :)
UPDATE 1.1: Fixed use butons apearing to early and made jumping more intuitive, acording to your feedback. (Just press W to jump instead of use button and then W) Try replaying the game for better experience if you want. Thank you!
Really cute visuals and music. Sadly I never made it past the 1st level, the controls did not feel intuitive and sadly were difficult for me to manage. I can see the effort put into this. Nice job.
I'm verry sorry that game was inuintuitive for you😔 Could you tell us what would be nice to change fix that? I would love to make it a better experience :) I will try to update the game and make it better! Thanks in advance!
To be honest it may just be me, but it was my hand placement on the keyboard having to use 1,2,3 and then W. Just felt like my hand was awkwardly high on the keyboard which caused me to have to look at it as opposed to more naturally resting. Maybe Q,W,E or A,S,D and Space for Jump would have been more natural. Again, it could also be just me and my old hands and old brain lol
Just update the game! Now you just need to press W to jump :) Speed is stil 1 and strentgh is still 3 but with jump change is alot better imo. Try cheking it out again if you want!
I loved the visual, and honestly really unique concept and controls! I wouldve loved to play it more, but it was very frustrating to deal with the resets and jankiness of the controls
Heya! I'm one of the devs, I am not addded to the game page yet XD. Thanks for feedback! We were in a big rush so we didnt implement slider saving. I will deffinitly update the game so sliders dont rest and implement other feedback after I get added to the game page. Glad you liked it <3
Visual style is really fun and unique, and I the game concept is unique as well. I wish there was an easier way to experiment, though. The bars resetting every fail makes it hard to hone in the values.
