Game Description
After fighting the Demon Lord for decades our new purpose is a slow life in the country side and build the best tavern!
How does your game tie into the theme?
Narratively the characters find a new purpose of building instead of fighting. Mechanicaly you have to assign and reassign then to multiple buildings making then fill multiple roles/purposes

This was a very ambitious project. The art was great. The characters were animated. I really enjoyed the music.
The gameplay was very confusing. I assigned all my peeps to jobs and after 5 days I had no resources. There was no guidance on where to start, nor any indication that anyone was "out of resources". I slowly got the idea, but the pacing felt slow. The mouse edge scrolling was nice, but it was kinda slow.
It seems like from the comments that others had a better time at it than I did. It definitely looked and sounded good!
i like the graphics a lot, i think the game needs some sort of objective or goal or sort of pressure to get you to make resources at the moment, as well as maybe an indication on the hotbar of where you can make resources by hovering on the icon for the corresponding resource. pretty neat overall!
Cool little resource management game. You did a god job handling all the npc movements and I'm a big fan of the 2.5D look.
I think some clarity in game would help as it took me awhile to realize that the npc workers needed drinks to work efficiently, I was very confused where they were going until I had a look at the game page.
Also by the time you get to late game they consume more drinks than you can make even with a mage working at a fully leveled tavern with available beer.
It was kinda chill to have in the background while I did other stuff and occasionally went back to shuffle the party as needed, I did end up fully upgrading every build. it was a shame you didn't have time to make an ending.
Nice work on the game.
Edit: I forgot to ask the most important burning question that I had that entire time, why was everyone naked?
Thanks for playing the game!
Yeah there is a lot of info missing in the game, I had a feeling that would happen, but I did not test enough of the late game to know, so I did not know how much it needed to be toned down (or in this case probably boosting the tavern somehow, maybe making the barrel give multiple drinks)
To answer your important question: they... hmmm... they... are.... hm.... Ghosts! Yeah we definitvely intended for then to be Ghosts from the start, not that we got lazy and thougth it would be too much work and that I would rather be going to the pool in my vacation, it sure was ghosts from the start.
Glad it worked as a background game, that was what I was hopping for!
Loved the Octopath Traveler aesthetic. Wish there was more audio/ visual feedback. Some supplies require others to use and you can't really tell until you experiment. Other than that I enjoyed the progression building.
Thanks for playing our game!
I felt like this game needed a way to recruit more adventurers to help around the town or some progression for the party to improve how much resources you get when working a building -- the four party members just aren't enough to spread around to everywhere you want them. For example, making planks wants the warrior making logs and the archer turning them into planks, which means you're already down half your party just for one resource!
Thanks for playing.
Thats the goal you have to "repurposed" then to other buildings, it's not an assign and forget, it's more of a micromanegement deal.
Not really sure what I’m supposed to be doing! There’s defiantly the bones of a game there if there was something to work towards. Good job managing to build for all three platform!
Thanks for playing. There is not much to do, just gather resources and upgrade buildings, I forgot to add an end game check because we were planning to add achievments for doing challenge runs.
