The game can feel somewhat confusing at times. Certain UI elements, particularly in the menu could benefit from cleaner buttons and a font that fits the game style more. Player movement feels slightly jittery, and the screen shake that occurs with every attack can become overwhelming. That said, the core concept is ok, and overall, the game shows a lot of promise.
Thanks for the suggestions , it is my first time to create a combat and also a 2.5 D Like movement show i was a bit confuse.. but hope you like the Game 🤞🤞
HEy man tried the game! The ai chrased after like 10min so I didnt play much with it. The visuals and story are realy charming. Some ui elemnts doesnt really blend in with the whole style but thats nothing really. You should mybe stop the movement when the haraceter is attacking, idk it felt a bit out of place.
I really love how the game starts, and I also like how, when you press start, it does an animation and zooms in on the player. That was really cool, and I like the post-processing from Unity.
However, I encountered some bugs in Level 1 (I'm currently on Level 3 and no bugs on any of it and will finish it and provide full details in other levels).
In Level 1, I had an issue where I kept jumping higher than the steel cage and got stuck. After that, I ended up on the other side, outside the area where the monsters are. I think it might be a collision problem, as I've used Unity before and know that changing it to a Box Collider and making it fit the steel cage could fix it.
Also, at the beginning, I had some trouble figuring out how to attack or use the sword, but I figured it out after trying a lot. Adding some text to guide the player on how to attack would be helpful for players who didn't read the instructions and are playing directly.
Hope my feedback is useful and helps make the game even better <3
Thanks for suggestions i will fixed the bugs in next update and also add a small tutorial in game starting btw controls are already written on the game page.
Just as i expected, the game is really fun, instead of exp you could have used same system as swordigo , but there are some problems i faced when speaking to ai. Here, in this image , i asked him about other side of sewers , and i got this.
