Don't know how to start the game, there are no readme or instructions for running it.
I’m pretty sure it is a download, this is my first game on itch.io and I am very new to game dev so I’m not 100% sure on how to do it. Sorry
No problem! It is a whole bunch of things to care about, but making sure the starting of the game is easy and smooth is super important to get people playing the game. I can extract the zip file on the page, but afterwards I am not sure what am I looking at :
Is it a MacOS build only? A windows? Webgl?
well i made it on mac but im pretty sure its for all, do you not just download the build file then click on the build file?
just following up, so i think i know how to do it, so if you go onto the game page then click download it will appear in your downloads, then click on it then it will run
(I am using a Linux machine, which might be why this is different) so I download a zip file, a click on it, and it unpacks it. Inside, there is a content folder, with a bunch of subfolders. I see no executable or launcher file D:
thats strange, now when i try to open it, it says file can't be opened, im not sure what to say, sorry
