I assume the problem is with the web version, but my mouse is not captured by the game, and I cannot rotate the camera. There are too many buttons here for me, but I like the music and the concept in general.

Hm that's odd, I've seen quite a few people play on web and have tested myself on a few different browsers. Just so I can troubleshoot this for future jams, could you let me know what OS/Browser you are using? I assume you don't have issues with any other in-browser games?

I use regular google chrome latest version

Developer

Hm that's surprising, that's one of the browsers I have tested against and it seems to work ok for me. (I know "It works on my machine" is the lamest developer catchphrase haha).

If you wouldn't mind, could you answer the below questions so I can have a proper dig? I haven't done many 3D Godot Web Exports so trying to pin down any bugs I find.

What OS are you using?
What Safe Browsing Level is configured?
Were any Permissions pop-ups (or any other informational messages) shown by the Browser?
Have you had any issues with any other in-browser games?

No worries if you don't want to answer all/any of these, I appreciate I'm asking for a favour and you're under no obligation to help troubleshoot a random browser game you tried to play haha. Appreciate you giving the game a go either way, thanks :)

I replicated the bug. When playing, press ESC, and instead of the menu, you will see your mouse, and after pressing ESC again, you will be taken to the menu, and after pressing resume, your mouse will be captured again. So I assume the problem is with capturing mouse.

Ah ok, thanks for coming back to me on that. That's really helpful and I really appreciate you making the effort to help me out with this :)

I think that might be linked to how the browser handles the game, rather than the game itself, as the first ESC/Click don't get passed to the game to be handled as javascript inputs. They are consumed by the browser to focus/unfocus the iframe containing the HTML/Javascript version of the game. At least that's my understanding of how it is working, happy to be corrected if I'm wrong there though!

The movement is really unique but a bit clunky, I really like the physics of it all!

Overall a pretty fun game!

Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed it :

This game is super fun! It took me a minute to figure out that I had to left shift before before being able to use the orb, but once I got that it was tons of fun just launching myself across the world and bypassing all of the platforms! I did get somewhat lost in space at the end, and it was hard to tell what direction I was moving in/where to put the orb to correct myself, but honestly that was kind of a fun challenge too! Great job!

Developer

I'm really glad you enjoyed it! What time did you get? Unfortunately I ran out of time to link an online leaderboard so it's only stored locally :( Yeah, the last part is definitely the least complete, getting lost in space is far too easy! Thanks for playing :)

Sorry not loading by waited more then 30 sec

Ah I'm sorry it's not working for you! It's definitely on the upper limits of what works in a browser based game. So far it's been tested on Edge and Chrome and works, but imagine the web version might not work for everyone. Thanks for trying it though, I'll be sure to check out your game :

The download version is a much better gameplay experience, I'd recommend trying that if you wanted to give it a go :
