Creative Vision / Rationale / How Did You Incorporate the Theme
The image inspired us to consider what it means to be connected to a higher purpose and what it means to fall short of that purpose, is there happiness to be found outside those bounds? We think so.

The opening cutscene was hilarious! It really set a charming and humorous tone for the whole game.

I enjoyed the simulation mechanics, though the progression felt a bit slow at times. One small quality-of-life suggestion: it would be super helpful to keep the resource counter visible while the 'Build' menu is open. I found myself closing and opening it just to check if I had enough materials.

Overall, the little golems are adorable and it's a solid interpretation of the theme. Nice work!

Really fun! I think a UI layout could be really helpful so player's can always see resources.

This was a solid game entry, I wish the resources and the amount you had of each resource would have been constantly visible on the top or the sides, would have made navigating the game quite a bit easier more fluid

Hello fellow Simulation submitter! Fun concept and cute characters :D The dropdown order menu was great.

I did run into a bit of problem getting them to errr...'populate'. It seemed to have them walk to the box and then the command stopped. Am I missing something or do you have any advice to get them to stick to that command?

Glad you liked the concept and characters! In order to have them make more of themselves, they need 3 clay, and you need to craft a sculpting stand. If you don't have that, their behavior should default back to "None". Unfortunately, there's a bug in the game where if their goal is set to none they will not seek out their needs and will just die, sorry. As for making them stick to it, you can't unless you have a steady supply of clay. I should have definitely not made it that way, though. I only coded it that way because it was easiest. Thanks for playing!

Oh okay, I see what's happening then. Gotta get a little golem flesh together first. I'll give it another whirl with that piece of knowledge

Seems like a solid foundation for a complete game. Lacking in polish in some areas, as expected for a jam game. The basic UI had me placing sculpting tables everywhere by mistake, and it was disheartening to see my resources being spent on that instead of the progression I wanted.

Yea we definitely wrestled with how to fix the issue of placing multiples of building items but in the end had to prioritize other issues before the deadline. Thank you so much for playing!

Cool concept and I liked the cute intro sequence, but I had a few issues during gameplay. I used the executable and whenever I would accidentally right click any object my game would continuously stutter. Besides that it was a fun and cute little game. The Ai was also pretty intuitive with the drop down menu addition  :  )

Sorry about that, we ran out of time and weren't able to optimize that much. I'm glad you liked it, though! I think the dropdown UI works for a short game without many craftables and resources, but if I had infinite time I would change the UI to a scrollable grid menu, instead. Thanks for playing! C:
