Creative Vision / Rationale / How Did You Incorporate the Theme
When we looked at the creative vision, a few words immediately stood out to us: connection, hope, and harmony. What reinforces all three? Friendship.

We wanted to create a charming co-op game that takes the idea of “connection” literally; a drawing game that requires players to communicate, collaborate, and ultimately conjoin their drawings into a single whole. We’re not striving for perfection, but for a great time together. Through this game, we hope to remind players of the childlike joy of connection.

When we were brainstorming, we made a shared drawing board and asked “What does a mermaid look like?” and we each drew half of the mermaid without looking at the other’s drawing. When we put the two together, the result was so funny that we knew we had our idea immediately.

Games that inspired us:
Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, Drawn to Life, Journey

Gorgeous visuals! Love to see it

Cute. Sometimes color extends beyond the brush area, and I think it's more intuitive if it paints the left side when the notebook's nail is on the right?

This was an unexpectedly interactive and creative interpretation of the theme! Beyond the very characterful NPCs and some fun, collaboration-friendly prompts, the game offers a fresh perspective and a playful sandbox for people who enjoy creating. I even had a great time playing it solo before I realized that the person drawing with me in-game was neither an NPC nor an online player. Good job!

This is a fun concept. I understand that's beyond the scope of this jam but an online version would be great.

Thank you! And yes we definitely wanted it to be online, and we would love to actually make it so and put it on Steam!
