Every single animation and 3d model is awesome and cute! And there are a lot (character, grass, UI, hovered items, inventory, hit, …), it’s definitely impressive. Huge and astonishing work, congratz!
The dialogue was perfect. The amount of sarcasm should be a staple in this game, wherever the dev decides to go with it. (Which I think should be straight to steam)
Did not come across a single glitch in the game!
The time system and amount needing to be done was a perfect sync.If you miss even one day, you fail the task. Which is kinda kickass. Lots to explore, lots of NPCS for a jam game (which I hope to see more of), and already a buttload of items! I really wanted to get that gun and see what it did!
Definitely a top contender so far. Recommend 10/10.
Amazing! One of the most polished experiences I have ever had on a jam game. Art and sound design are top-notch. Gameplay works well, too; the amount of animations and effects makes everything feel smooth.
I was expecting a lot, given the screenshots I saw on discord during the event, but I'm still impressed with the quality of your finished game!
Thank you so much, it really means a lot especially coming from you. Do you have any feedback that could improve the game? I feel like this game has a lot of room for improvements but I'm a little unsure about what to prioritize. Thanks again for playing.
I LOVE Link's Awakening and its remake for the Switch. This gave me the same feeling. Absolutely adore the visual style of the game. It's flawless! ✨
However, apart from the eerie interruptions about your performance, this just feels like a rip off of Stardew Valley. From the game play and the actual layout of the world. It might not be intentional, but that draws down the stars from me.
Hope you'll make something unique with your tallent! 🌟
Thanks for playing. It's actually a rip off of Harvest Moon: Back to Nature for the PS1. I really recommend it. But shout out Eric Barone, he's one of the greatest to ever do it.
On some real stuff though, it's a farming game so there's bound to be some similarities (prepare soil -> plant seed -> water -> harvest). I tried to innovate with some stuff but I don't want to be different just for the sake of being different. Given the relatively long development period, I saw this jam as an opportunity to innovate on the narrative side of things instead of just surface level gimmicks. However, I agree that I could've done a better job with the game's structure (and level design I guess).
Oh btw I just got my Switch, should I get Links Awakening or Echoes of Wisdom???
I hear you! A valid and honest response 💪
I actually didn't like Echoes of Wisdom that much. It was an ambitious but weird mess. Although, if you're craving that art style and ambience then I think you would enjoy it. I would rather play your future game though 😁
the style is absolutely delightful, and I love the dialogue and "voices." I was actually so shocked when I got the mid week check in scene, but I think it was perfectly tied into the theme you were going for! really awesome map as well, was not expecting there to be so many things to see and interact with!!
This game looks and feels amazing! Games like this remind me how much I still have to learn. Great job!
I still have much to learn, it truly never ends. You gotta love the process. I played your game, it's one of my favs. Thanks for playing.
Beautiful art, unique gameplay and funny dialogue. Hope to see this become into a full game!
