[LFP] [Maya] [3D Artist] Amateur 3D Artist looking for some free or paid work!

I've been 3D Modeling for a few years now, I utilize Maya for my modeling and unwrapping, ZBrush for any sculpting work, and use Substance Painter to create my textures. I can work in Blender, but I prefer to do my work inside of Maya since I've gotten a lot more comfortable with that workflow.

I'm not necessarily looking for paid work, if it happens to come my way I'm not going to turn it down, but I'm willing to work for free with like minded teams/individuals wanting to create cool experiences for people to play.

I'm strong in environmental props, and in general level design models. I have done characters and tools/weapons in the past, I enjoy them but they are a bit harder for me to fully grasp.

Hi, I am planning a simple tower wars for Android. Would you like to make the towers and the environment? I make it in Unity.

Hey. I have an idea for a casual Android game. Wanna work together?

We are Jelly Alchemist, a small team developing a cooperative PvE horror game set in an alternative Europe of the early 1900s: imagine a mixture of Fullmetal Alchemist and Lies of P, where alchemical gloves use jelly as the main tool. Yes, jelly. It’s vital.

Built on the Unreal Engine 5.6 with stylized 3D graphics, the game went beyond theory: the page is launched in Steam, cooperative mode works through Steam, and there is a playable prototype. It’s a raw, but real game. That’s where we thrive.

Global group of veterans and newcomers, united by passion for their cause and pragmatism. We meet weekly, fiercely argue and listen to each other. No unnecessary information. Only communication.

Now everyone is working for the portfolio and enthusiasm. We’re not just offering ideas - we’re showing a living, evolving prototype. Publishers want to feel the potential - and we give it to them.

Action plan:

In the next 1-2 months: from polish game mechanics to impressive quality.

Immediately after this: actively offer your materials to publishers - the materials are ready, contacts are expanding.

Then: formalize the studio, go to paid work. It’s a business, not a hobby.

What do we offer now? No salary yet. But there is: Creative freedom within our vision;

A team that shares our goals and implements them;

Clear path to paid work;

Portfolio of works that you will be proud of.

It’s a real, exciting adventure you’ve been waiting for. If you’re ready to create something meaningful from scratch - join us.
