Summarize your game!
Full Venue for You is a narrative-driven adventure RPG with a hand-drawn crayon aesthetic. The player controls a young boy who aims to gather as large an audience as possible.

Please explain how your game fits the theme.
The world is watching, because of you: Through a live-stream commentary format, the player experiences the thrill of going from the loneliness of being an unknown to the excitement of being the center of attention, while behind all this lies something enduring and genuine.

Did you use Generative AI to make any assets in your game?
Only for text translation

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
ATTENTION:Due to a Git synchronization issue, the final version contained a critical bug that caused the game to freeze. While attempting to upload a fixed version, I accidentally deleted the original files and am now unable to upload them again. I am currently communicating with the organizers. I apologize for the problems caused by my lack of experience.
The fixed version upload in a non-jam page:

This is my first attempt, and the theme could easily veer into satire or horror, but I still want to try to create something that can bring people simple joy. Thanks to my friend @SmartPsyDuck for his help with the code; together we completed this game!

Had to disqualify your submission because there is nothing to play on your page and your Discord account isn't on our official Discord so I cannot contact you. That being said I played your non-jam one so here is the feedback for that!

Playability:
Simple gameplay and interactions that lead the narrative forward. Focuses entirely around interacting with objects and characters in the right order.

Theme:
The game is played from the perspective of a live stream which fits the theme generally. Would love to see more interaction here outside of scrolling text.

Cleverness:
Really liked interacting with all the NPCs especially at the end. Puzzles were simple but enjoyable even if they can be easily brute forced.

Artistic Style:
Fantastic 2d paper style for the characters. Nice transitions between environments. Really enjoyed this overall.

Developer

Thank you so much for the feedback and for playing the game anyway—I'm thrilled you enjoyed the art, interactions, and puzzles! Sorry for the submission mess; lesson learned. Appreciate the DQ call and your time. 💛 Looking forward to your next jam!

Naww a cute story and a cute end. I like it when games let you talk to all npcs at the end :D

But back to everything before the ending, like the artstyle. It feels like a picture book and i loved that :D

The puzzles have been very simple, but they felt well placed and have been a nice addition to the dialogs.

And the dialog was quite funny and the story overall too. Kinda random that the Fairy gives him the ability to stream, but it felt like nice funny, on purpose randomness :D We need more games that do nice funny, on purposerandomness like that! And it executes the theme nicely.

About the dialog, when i talked to the Fairy the first time, it was often not possible to know which lines have been from the Fairy and which from the Boy. I think the boy should have a different dialog background.

The 'F' was shown on npcs when i couldnt click it, because i was in a dialog already. Even when the Person in front of me was the NPC who i pressed F on, like die dark lord.

The last thing i noticed was something i also had after the godot export: one line in the chat and the first alien dialog, had emoties, right? Seems like an Godot export bug, but in the Browser version they are not shown correctly.

As conclusion, it's a very nice story game, you two did a great job!

Developer

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback! We wanted to improve things like dialogue spacing with NPCs and some UI details, but due to time constraints, we had to focus on completing the core features first. The issues we encountered during the event turned into a valuable learning experience for me. I learned a lot, and your comments mean a great deal to us!

Thanks for playing! Although there were some regrets due to certain issues, I truly gained a lot from the experience.

I absolutely love the artstyle! It was very cute! The story is so sweet! I enjoyed it. Maybe just a little too linear but really good job!

Developer

Thank you! I wanted to create a warm story, so I'm really glad you enjoyed it.

Cool and cute. Very much a story game, enjoyed all the main elements.  Would like a little less linear story but it's good.

Thanks for playing! Due to time constriants, we decided to focus on the story presentation. Trying to bring more ideas for gameplay in the future.

Amazing submission! I love the art-direction and writing. Though, the game did break for me (freezing on the line about the dark lord going down). I particularly loved the "look around" bit, where you progress by literally looking back and forth. Nice touch.

Developer

Thanks for the support! It really keeps me going. I've been fighting with bugs since the release, but I think the story is finally solid now. Hope you enjoy the experience!

Just played it again and got past the 'dark lord is going down'  bit and reached the end. Amazing story. 10/10
