Playability:
Simple 2d run and gun platformer. Rather easy at the moment with what appears to be a single level. Would like to see more enemy types, levels, weapons, or platforming challenges.

Theme:
Didn't feel the theme come through on this in any gameplay way. It's part of the narrative in the intro but stops being relevant from then on. That's alright though so don't despair!

Cleverness:
Great use of bullet mechanics and gibs. Felt responsive and good overall.

Artistic Style:
Consistent and detailed art style. Good work on making a mostly red world and characters still be visually distinct from one another.

I'm very impressed by the art style and the mechanics were smooth. Shooting and sound effects have an amazing feel to them. I would like to see more of a challenge for future levels, but these starting levels are great to introduce the player to the mechanics. Biggest disappointment was it being so short, I could've spent a long time having fun with this game! Please add more levels and put it on Steam!

Nice work! Controls were smooth, I liked the hold to jump farther mechanic. Shooting felt juicy and I liked that it wasn't 1 hit KO. There was definitely a lot going right here, I think with a bit more finetuning around platformer physics like honing momentum, working on coyote time, etc., you'd have a really smooth experience! I especially liked the 360 shooting angle, and felt like with maybe a jetpack or double jump, I could see myself having a lot more fun with it.

Fairly short, but nice control! Very smooth. Art was quite nice and thematically cohesive. The music did seem to cut off/not-loop. I wish there was a bit more to the game. I didn't experience any real bugs, which - for a game jam, is praise worthy. Well done.
