Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes
Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes
Summarize your game!
You have been sentenced to 700 life sentences for crimes unknown. Good news however! If you can get enough people to watch you participate in deadly and unusual games, you can go free! No one in their right mind would want to be here, but you are different. You are exactly where you want to be...
Some meta: You play as Seraphel, a sort of angelic android. She has been sentenced to a long time in prison for reasons unknown and unimportant. She is there to get revenge and to destroy the system that has ruined so many lives before. However, she can't just blow the whole thing up. the government controls the media. You have to make sure the whole world is watching first, so they broadcast their own downfall.
Controls:
Enter to start the level.
Arrowkeys move left and right to dodge red panels
"A" to attack and break blue panels.
Escape to Pause
Mult goes up after clearing platforms and resets when taking damage.
Spd goes up after passing platforms, and reduces when hit.
You can control the colume of the music with the Settings menu.
You can also use the equivalent to PlayStation "X" button to attack, and R1/L1 equivalents to shift. Since controller support isn't reliable in my experience, the main controls are with keyboard.
Please explain how your game fits the theme.
Without the added context of the story, I could see how it might make much sense relating to the theme, but The World is Watching is the end goal of Seraphel. The them makes me thing of history and the moments that make people think about how the future will describe the events they are seeing. And whats more historic that the taking down of a authoritarian government.
Did you use Generative AI to make any assets in your game?
No
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
This is the first time ive ever made something in 3D, and I had a ton of fun creating the assets. I am really proud of how the wings turned out especially.

Playability:
Fun lane swapping precision timing game. Reminds me a bit of Thumper without all the extra flair involved. Great start to something that could end up very cool.
Theme:
The theme here was expressed through viewers in a live stream but that doesn't feel like it was tied to gameplay in an impactful way. Would like to see it more directly integrated.
Cleverness:
Great controls and obstacles. I see you have a jump mechanic that isn't yet added to the rotation. Keep working on this!
Artistic Style:
Simple and consistent art style. Nothing wrong here.
thank you for playing my game! i agree, i could have integrate the viewers in a way that made more sense. eventaully, (as in working on this for the last week) I've been trying to get viewer rewards and obstacles working, but havent had as much time as id like. once again. thank you so much for playing!
The base of the game was pretty good and the controls felt nice. It's a good foundation for a game, but it feels a bit unfinished (which is to be expected in a game jam). The tutorial screen also felt a bit overwhelming for me, and could probably be sectioned up a bit. I didn't quite get the difference between the new viewers and viewers, and the finishing screen had a number that felt like it was bugged?
thansk for the feedback! the number is supposed to be large, it was part of the story that i wasnt able to implement. Basically, you are suppose to earn a certain number views to proceed in the game, which doesnt exist atm. The wall of text was pretty much because i didnt have time to finish the tutorial level i was working on before the deadline haha. completely understandable tho, i hope to clear that up as i continue working on it. thank you so much for playing!
Neat rails game, not sure if it is infinite or not. Got to 10k viewers before I ran out of time to play, no change in speed for a long while - might make it more interesting. Everything worked well, though the control scheme could be modified for keyboard.
thanks for the feedback! it is technically infinite, there is just a speed cap for the different difficulties (anything past a little over 100 made it so the platforms were going too fast and the platforms not deleting). I wanted to add the options to change your bindings but I wanted to make it work before anything else. thanks for playing!
