My favorite entry so far! Very well balanced pacing between growing plants and exploring the undergrounds. Clear, pretty graphics and good sound makes for a truly enjoyable experience. 5 stars! 🌟
Thanks a lot! I hope I will get the motivation (and the time) to add new exploration and farming mechanics in the future. I’d love to make it a bigger game.
I played this game for way longer than i care to admit. I absolutely Love the movement so much, its so satisfying. I love the progression and how all the different plants grow in different ways. absolutely fantastic !
Thanks! I intended to have ~1 hour of game-play, I’m glad you enjoyed playing it :)
This is really impressive! I love the game, the art style and how smoothly everything flows. It's really original, the movement is fantastic and the crops are unique! Good job!
Thanks for your kind comment :)
Impressive! The wall/roof crawling and terraforming mechanics are really satisfying and the animations on the robot look great. Feels very polished. Well done!
Thanks! I glad you liked my game :)
Great! Really complete game for such a short timeline Nice work!!!
Thanks! I spent a huge amount of time on this project, I had lot of fun making it.
Holy moly this game is good.
Some suggestions:
Work on basic movement. It is fun as is but a little clunky. I am SO close to being super parkour robot, and I want to be super parkour robot.
Increase harvesting speed. Maybe the upgrades do that, I haven't done it yet, but there's no reason to keep people waiting.
Some comments:
The ability to bury is crazy powerful and not expected in a game like this. You can kinda freely terraform anything as much as you want. Which seems great to me.
Different conditions under which different crops grow is really good.
This game is good at making you feel powerful and like you can do a lot. Well done!
Thanks for your kind comment and your feedbacks :) Upgrades can come quite fast but their cost could be balanced to allow unlocking some of them earlier. I intended to had robot upgrades like move speed and jump power, but I preferred focusing on a chill game for a first release.
Simply fantastic. It looks like the work of many, many months. Everything is very polished, the animations, the sprites, in fact, I love your art style, kind of flat/clean.
The movement mechanics, the lore, and the planting system are super original and work very well together.
I honestly have no criticisms; everything is great!
I haven't finished it yet, but I'll definitely come back after trying the other games!
It’s indeed a lot of work. Thanks a lot for your kind comment!
Absolutely one of my favorite games in the jam. Movement feels really good and unique, which also ties into the planting requirements of some crops. Love the simple art style and the animations on the robot, the little item drop spinning animation, really polished. It's crazy how you managed to develop so many features in under a month. Overall an exceptional entry. I only have some minor feedbacks to give:
- Weather and day/night system doesn't feel as impactful as they could be. You spend most of your time inside the volcano or turning in quests/deliveries so I don't see the point of a changing weather. The radiation period only serves as a waiting time for when you need to turn in deliveries or progress the tutorial. Speaking of, I think the tutorial guy should teleport/appear at where you complete a task so you don't have to backtrack all the way back. By that logic, the crafting bench should also be portable. I'm pretty sure it's a jam limitation so I completely understand.
- The cutting audio frequency peaks a little so it gets distorted.
I’m glad you like it, I dedicated all my spare time of the month on this project.
Thanks for your feedback. I agree with the season / weather system. The weather is actually just a visual representation of the season, I wished I had more time to add visuals of season when underground (like lava activity in warm season?). In term of game mechanics, some fruits pop out on specific season and weeds spawn on radiation season, that’s all but it feels not enough yet. I hope that I will find the motivation and time to improve the game and add more content.
This game is super polished and the art is also very good! Awesome work!
Thanks!
