I like the art style :)

Could be a really cool little game when finished. Sadly I couldn't hit enemies at all and the cards seem a bit delayed.

Bullet collisions didn't work for me-- I couldn't hit enemies, and they missed me 95% of the time. I wasn't really sure what was happening with the cards being picked up either. It seems like the bones here could be good, but interacting with elements needs to be fixed to say for sure.

The art looks pretty decent, it gives me Zelda dungeon vibes in a good way. I'm actually not a fan of the music, it's a bit dissonant in my ears unfortunately.

It was striking that it was somewhat 3D, in a good way! The art is also very original. I would keep working on it. Would be nice to see it with all the features you noted as missing

Thank you! I've been trying to tweak the 2d-3d hybrid for my games. The full update should be available by the show case, I'm still working on it. The main loop that is not properly represented, goes as such. Collect the green item cubes, this causes you to draw a card. cards are either armor upgrades, attack upgrades, food or healing items. you can see what cards you have by opening the hand "" h + 1" (close the hand with h + 2). Play until you die, upgrade your character, and try again. The cards give you a base stat increase that resets every time you die. the stats in the character selection screen are permanent increases and can be upgraded using "pixils" you receive from the cards.

every enemy you defeat increases your elemental resistance to that type by 1 %

The enemies "evolve" at certain stages.

The full combat system does have animations for all enemies and characters, simply not implemented yet

Thank you for your kind words, and I hope you like the final product

Seems like you have it all planned out! It is indeed a bit too much for a jam, but it's also good that you know how to move forward. Good luck!

Love the art, couldn't seem to interact with the enemies, though they could hit me.

Thank you for playing. there was a bug that should be fixed now!

I will have to be a bit harsh here, im sorry.

I couldn't figure out how to play the game. When I select the warrior, it actually selects the mage, and vice versa. The mage and archer attacks seem to be non-functional, and I couldn't determine how to damage enemies—projectiles appear to hit but have no effect. Additionally, the warrior cannot attack at all (or I couldn’t figure out how to). There are no instructions provided.

The idea looks interesting, but without better interface and UX, I can't really say.

thank you for playing. I did just update it while you posted this fixing a lot to do with the attack and the character selection. The damage in the first few rounds is wonky. it's built on a huge system I didn't have time to finish. The goal is to collect cards "items" to increase tour equipment and gain items, and travel through each floor. thank you for your review, and I would be honored if you could give it another try with the fixes.

Certainly! I will play again, taking into account your explanation and update my review accordingly.
