Playability:
Easy to understand and play. Really enjoyable experience and would suit a mini-game or puzzler really well.

Theme:
Observation as a theme entry point kind of works but it feels like this could go deeper.

Cleverness:
Really enjoyed the simplicity of this game and how many variations you can and have included into what outs the spy. Very cool to see a Spot The Difference game in this jam. Nice work!

Artistic Style:
Consistent and simple. The art style works very well for this game.

I love this spot the difference game!  The variety in differences was good and honestly some of them escaped me really well so I enjoy the challenge.  Looking at your GDD I see that you prioritized mobile view and want it as a casual play game and I think you did an excellent job because when I played this I was thinking how great this would be to do a bunch of levels or challenges in this in my downtime. Great work y'all.

This was a pretty fun spot the difference game. I liked the variety of differences you had and the music really got the adrenaline pumping! Managed to get up to level 26. The gradual increase in the amount of people on the screen was implemented well. Nice work!

great variety in the odd one out, keeps you checking everything each round instead of focusing on one aspect. Fun little game!

This was a fun little game.

I did a few levels and while I got a feeling of what to look for it was still relatively challenging.

Music/Art and Timer were all really well done and the beeping to let you know you are almost out of time was nice.

So gozy and simple, liked this game from first version

Love this! Simple and effective. It took me a hot second to understand what I needed to do, but once I got it I was hooked. I think this game may have gone viral if it were in the early 2010's.

"May have gone viral if it were in the early 2010's" is probably the nicest and most encouraging words we have ever heard. Thank you  for playing our game and leaving feedback!

Nice! Fun little game. Lovely cute animations, fun music and sfx.

Wow, I played this when you first released it, and it was a fun prototype, but I was thinking to myself, hm not sure it's going to get much more fun...

Here I am coming back, playing it over and over to try and find those little bastards 😄

Great game! Nicely done!

Really cool idea!

Makes me remember a Mario Party (I think it's a party game) where you need to select a character's face from a swarm of other faces, and it gets increasingly harder with more subtle variations.

The sound design is well done, I was grooving with that music. Really liked the extra polish of showing the player where the spy was if they failed, although having that interaction take a second more would be clearer for the player. Or maybe have just an outline appear, since after that I couldn't discern what was different about that specific spy.

I did understand somewhat how it fits the theme, although it doesn't seem like the other spies are looking for each other, so I think it kind of misses a bit of the theme fit.

Good variation on differences between spies, and if there were different environments, maybe even having little environments with set dressings could be interesting. Opening doors, moving things out of the way to be able to see the spies in certain zones.

Really liked it!

Thank for playing our game and leaving feedback!

The spy reveal is for sure that needs improvement and we're having fun exploring different ways to make it so. Different environments is something we want to explore as well in the future, because I personally feel the blank emptiness is boring. Your opening and moving things is an interesting idea, reminds me a bit of "Hidden Folks."

Thanks again for the kind words and thoughtful feedback!

Please resubmit, entry criteria were missing before today (see discord news)!

Cool update, like the variation in what to look for!  I had the most trouble with the hats.

Thanks for the heads up! I would have totally missed that if it wasn't for your message. 🙇

Fun game, glad I came back and tried again seems like an update added more variants of guys to find and that's definitely added to the difficulty in a cool way. In some ways it's easier, but since you don't always know the difference you're looking for it can be somewhat harder. A suggestion that you could take or leave is perhaps having a "Target" in the top right corner or something for what the player is looking for, would help them realize the type of difference they're looking for in a level. Not sure if that would make it too easy or not, either way a fun little concept!

Developer

Thank you for taking the time to play our game and giving feedback, it means a lot. I like your target hint suggestion, and we're playing around with different ways to implement it, i.e. revealed after a certain time, or an option to enable or disable it for different difficulty modes. Thanks again!

Cool and easy to understand.  Played this some and I think I just couldn't see the assassin a few times.  Some misses I think were me focusing too much on tints.

(+1)

Interesting concept. It can be addicting to try to find the odd one out. I am not sure how it is with color blindness(I am not color blind) so those with it, might be affected more. I played 3 times and my best was 28.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for taking the time to play our game and providing feedback. I've found the color tint being the primary anomaly hard to play with, so it's for sure an area that needs improvement. Good news is we're currently focused on adding anomalies before the jam deadline. Hope you're able to try it again then!

Thanks again!

my suggestion would be to set one of the anamoly as the base sprite. im always looking for a bearded man, vs a group of bearded men show up and one is small?! i just lost
