I had an npc walk up behind me in a narrow area and they wont move I've gone back and forth in my small area for hours tried interacting with them which it will not, Im stuck and don't know what to do.  Sadly I had just realized I hadn't saved in a while after much exploring and did so then realized soon after that the npc approached so I cant even restart as it just starts back there with me stuck.

If the NPC won't move whatever you do you could try use cheat engine or other tools that offer noclip options so you can avoid the collision problem between player and NPC  to move past them.

If that doesn't work you will have to load a previous save or start over.
