I thought the art style was a little inconsistent, being a mix of painted and pixellated, but I'm not sure if there's some meaning to this use of mixed media. I enjoyed the escape room style gameplay, but I didn't have to think very much as I was playing, because I ended up just kinda clicking around and finding the keys to progress. I was also a little confused by the very creepy vibes in the beginning, but having the warmer imagery toward the end. Nice work though!

Congrats on finishing such a polished game! I enjoy this game a lot, especially how the art, overall aesthetics and the music (OMG it’s so good) fit together to create a very cohesive experience. In terms of narrative, you guys definitely succeeded in creating a story about misinterpretation and trust, and the overall emotional arc was very well thought out (this is even more impressive given the ‘no dialogue’ constraint). I do feel the puzzles can be quite lacking at times, though. Sometimes the sequences seem out of place or not very intuitive to deduce, which leads me to end up repeatedly clicking on random elements. Other than that I was a very lovely experience!
The first time I came here, I was a bit in a hurry to rate the games in my queue, and I didn’t stay long. Glad your commenting on my game brought me here again.
I loved the mystery, the contrast between the darkness of the journey and the light it leads to. The emotional arc is well designed, it did make me emotional at the end of the game, which I honestly didn’t expect to experience. The mood is perfect, and the sound and music make great contribution to the atmosphere.
I’m sorry for your loss but glad it inspired you to create such a beautiful piece.
I love the art! I really did get the liminal vibe that you guys were going for. Initially When I started up the game I had a hard time understanding what exactly what I should be doing, but after I read the description, I kind of understood exactly what I should do. I enjoyed finding my way through each space. I would have liked each space to be a little bit more complicated, in the sense it felt like all I had to do was click one thing then I could move forward, while some of the spaces made me think a bit more, which I liked. The sound was very compelling though, I really enjoyed the feedback when I seemed to be going into the right direction.
Overall great job guys!
I absolutely love this game! The controls are sleek and intuitive, and the art style is refreshingly unique and distinctive. To draw a perhaps imperfect comparison, it boasts a one-of-a-kind visual aesthetic just like Rusty Lake—it’s so captivating that you really feel immersed in the world of your story. Though the art style of the two dogs at the end did take a sudden detour—hahaha! The whole game is compact yet delightful! I’m already super excited for your next project!
The artstyles were both very beautiful- the rendering on the non pixel art was genuinely phenomenal! I loved the camera movement fluidly following the point and click gameplay- it worked so well together! The liminal spaces were all very unique, my only feedback is that, although the styles were both great, the difference was a tiny bit visually confusing (unless this was intentional with the creepy liminal space vibe!)
Beautiful atmospheric piece! The wordless storytelling and liminal space aesthetic create such a contemplative mood. The point-and-click mechanics work well to explore these dreamlike environments. Really interesting artistic direction - the visual and audio design complement each other perfectly. A thoughtful entry!
I confess that I gave up on the second screen the first time I played. I'm glad I came back and played all the way through. This is a curious little experience you got here. Well done.
Oh my god, your game is a huge success! I was absolutely terrified T-T The music and sound effects are spot on too!
The atmosphere created by the artwork and music is absolutely perfect. Great job!
