I didn’t really look at the heroes or the super villains; I just sent the heroes as fast as I could.
My suggestion for using your time would be instead of doing sound, focus on making the battles themselves better. Like show me why I should use one hero instead of another - maybe elemental interactions or some stats do not work together at all.
Since 2 heroes are sent, were you going to do some type of combo system?
That's great idea.
Something like buffs or synergies.
Thank you.
Nice gameplay and audio! I think you should remove the "send" button, many times I forgot to click it because I was expecting that dropping heroes on a slot would not require an additional step. It would also be nice to draft these cards!
Thank you for advice!
I wanted to prevent locking hero by default to do not frustrate player when miss while dropping.
That's a cool concept! I think it comes down to luck of the initial draw, but what is there works great! I kept wondering if my heroes would get hurt and if more would join, that could be a nice addition.
You are right!
I wanted to add damage taking logic for heroes but I had no time :D
I really like this game. I think I lucked out with my first run though as I got 3 big ones in my hand! Would really like to see some kind of "hiring" stage where you get to pick your 5 heroes and have a pool of points, or cash, or something to buy them with.
Thank you for your comment!
I wanted to add hiring logic but main mechanic took twice the time I wanted to spend. So I needed to cut some features.
Really fun theme! The Dispatch inspiration is clear and the theme is good.
I do feel like I am managing more and recruiting less, but still, good game!
The funniest thing is that I have never played The Dispatch and didn't know that hero deployment system is almost identical XD
