Cool concept! For some reason none of the sprites rendered for me when I played on Firefox, switching to chrome seemed to fix it though. I wish I had a bit more control where I can shoot, but really enjoyed the way you could interact with the paint - good job!

Fun game. I liked it!

Quite fun!
I managed to get myself stuck inside the second building somehow, but after a forced restart it played smoothly.
I liked the core mechanic, easy to see how it could be expanded to make a fully fledged game, lots of potential.

I completed this game completely. Thank you for not making it too difficult, which is usually the case with platformers. It would be great to play the full version, with many levels and additional mechanics. You came up with a good idea with paints.

Nice concept, Game was short but i indeed enjoyed my time with it :)

The mechanics are like in Portal 2, it's very cool and funny, I liked it.

Fun game, just be aware the cake is a lie. Overall, I good way to embrace the limitation and make a fun, if short, game. Really liked it!

It's an interesting concept, however I didn't need the red paint at all. I thought it will combine speed+jump but either it didn't or I didn't need to.

pretty fun concept and game, I'd def play more if it had more levels and colors.

Thank you! I think my only regret was not getting to add more levels and colors too!

This game is really cute. I love this game. My biggest complaint is that it didn't last long enough, but I really liked everything. The main things I'll add is that if you could find a pixel art font or make one yourself so that it could work with the rest of the art, that would be good (it's just two very different pixel sizes), and if you could add a bit of heaviness to the jump about after half way through the jump (forceful upwards, heavy descent, instead of all the same speed), just so that the jump is a little less floaty. Other than I really liked how you introduced the mechanics, I had no idea that I was going to bounce and slide on the paint, and when you made me use those mechanics I liked that.

I'm apart of a late submission so I'll try to rate your game when it get's put up (my game took too long to build and finished building literally right as it hit the deadline...)

You can find the game I did here if you still want to check it out "https://blakeb1.itch.io/bonkos-nightmare"

Thanks so much! I used this jam to learn how to use Godot, so I had to spend more time learning the engine than building the game. That's why there's not as much as I wanted to add. But that's a good idea on the jump, I'll look into that on my next game! Thanks!

I'll give your game a play when I get home!
