Hello, fellow game creators and farm fanatics!
If you’re here, you probably remember the spark that started with FarmJam.
In 2023, a few creative folks joined us to put a new spin on farm games, and the response was beyond anything we could’ve expected!
Then, in 2024, we saw over 250 incredible participants come together to make FarmJam even bigger and better with a Community vote!
Now for the exciting part:
FarmJam 2025 Q1 Jam was all about cute farm friends with an explosive impact big enough to have some prizes! This year, we will be having 2! ... Technically!
We will start the 2025-2026 Jam just after christmas, and end it off at the end of January! Nothing like the christmas spirit to get everybody in the jam mood!
Whether you’re looking to make a wholesome farming sim, a wild farming RPG, or something completely unexpected (farming horror, anyone?), we’re ready to see what you’ve got. Bring your unique ideas, quirky mechanics, and fresh takes on farming games. Let’s show the gaming world how endless the possibilities can be on the farm!
I'm a huge fan of couch co-op, and farming games, My Wife and I play them together often, even on single-player, and we noticed, well... there isn't much to pick from that is out of the ordinary! Last year, we doubled it from 15 days to 30 days, and this year and every year going forward, we will be sticking to 30 days!
Now, I did mention Co-op. It is not mandatory of course, but if you wanna make a 2-player experience, go for it! No pressure, just pure fun.
Mandatory Requirements:
🌾 Farm Themed: Your game should be all about that farm life - think crops, animals, and rural charm. Your chosen game theme can be anything! Sci-Fi, Horror, First Person, Bird's Eye, Whatever you like! There MUST be either Growable Crops, or Animals that can be raised!
🌞 Day and Night: Add some spice with a day/night system. How will it affect your virtual farm? OR 🌾 Add some seasonal surprises with a season system!
