Brilliant concept!
Most commenters praise the art, which I agree is great, but for me the core gameplay steals the show!
I was surprised how much depth (pun intended) there was, even though there aren't many card types.
After I figured out the opponent's strategy I could consistently win, but I had so much fun before getting there.
I only realised the moon indicated the turn order after reading the page's description, which was after I put the game down, but I figured the mechanic through gameplay so it didn't matter much.
Cute art!
Everything looks so nice!! too bad it is so tiny in the browser.
Having water be a shared resource is such a smart and subtle way to refresh (heh) the classic card battler formula :3
Thank you!!!
We tried really hard to make a card game that was unique and interesting to play, and I'm really glad you liked it!
As for the screen size, we might try and fix it along with some other bugs in the game after voting is done. Cause I know on mobile the screen is ridiculously small for some reason.
adorable art! though, why not use the limitation?
We forgor...
but yeah we read the jams theme and started work, we only realized there was a limitation right before we submitted.
I loved the art style and characters, there's this one card where the text will pop out of the card and the screen, overall pretty fun card game! again love the art style.
Thank you! I'm glad you liked our game!
As for the text yeah, we were gonna fix that but ran out of time. There also might be some wording on the cards that isn't 100% accurate because we changed how some of the cards worked near the end of development, but most should be accurate.
HAHAHA cool idea!!!sprites cool too:D
