Creative Vision / Rationale / How Did You Incorporate the Theme
When I first saw the theme image, the idea that came to mind was “connection between people,” or more specifically, how people can truly understand and communicate with one another. I also believe that genuine understanding and communication require effort from both sides. With that in mind, I wanted to create a story about communication between humans who exist in an inherently unequal relationship.

To me, the relationship between a “pet and its owner” is a clear representation of this kind of connection. At first glance, it appears to be a hierarchical relationship with mutual expectations—the owner controls the pet, seeks comfort from it, while the pet looks to the owner for shelter and a sense of home. However, I wanted to explore the possibility of these two sides communicating with one another on an equal footing at a spiritual and emotional level.

This idea is what led my teammates and me to create this work together.
