I do find RNG to be an issue. you might not have enough time to travel to the other side of the board if the cut out spawns there.

Pretty fun.

I liked the cool synthy music

Speed fixed

cool

looks and sounds cool , the concept is nice

However, the game is currently completely unplayable on high refresh rate screens. My monitor is 144Hz; the game speed was running really fast until I lowered it to 60Hz, at which point everything worked correctly.

This is a common issue fixed by implementing "delta time" in your game's physics and movement calculations. It's a very important topic that ensures game speed is independent of the player's frame rate , Therefore, all players will have the same experience with your game . A quick search will show you how to implement it .

I really liked the music and sfxs .. also the game has some level of polish

another thing : it's not completly clear when should I jumb .. or not , so thats lead to me lossing every time

overall , good submittion and good luck with your future projects

I LOVE the graphics. It's very pretty and love the TV effect. I do agree its too fast.

Hmm, did you tie the movement to framerate and develop on a 30-60 fps machine? The game runs crazy fast when run on a 120 fps display. Otherwise a fun idea and good choice of music :)

my boomer brain cant handle this speed. I like the art and funky vibe, and what the game is supposed to be but unfortunately have not even managed one :/

I want to like it, but holy crud, this game is just unplayable. Not only is it too fast, but we get zero breather the moment the game starts. And it really doesn't help that I literally have to use my mouse to click the start button, meaning I need to take my right hand off my keyboard for a game that requires fast reaction time.

I don't really like doing comparisons with other games, but I made a similar comment on RunTime, where I have to use my mouse, and I'm immediately sent to the level with little to no warning while my right hand is still on my mouse. The difference is that it excels at increasing difficulty gradually through smart level design, which makes the issues slightly more forgivable cause it's at least playable, not impossible at the very start.

If you want to actually make the game fun, I suggest you consider making the speed gradually go up instead of immediately chucking the person at the speed of light. And as much as I want to appreciate the retro shader, it's very distracting.

Next time, test your game.

Liked it, specially the visual effects you put on too they really match the theme of the game together,

I enjoy the concept and how it's presented as a TV show(?) through the use of scan lines. It's a little fast though and doesn't seem to have any escalation in mechanics. I could see this being a mini-game in something Wario-ware inspired!

Good art style, but very fast for a noob like me :(

looks cool but completely unplayable

PLEASE MAKE IT SLOWER PLS ITS SUCH A GOOD LOOKING AND PLAYING GAME APART FROM IT'S UNPLAYABLE BECAUSE OF THE SPEED :)

This feels way too fast at the start and thanks to that is almost unplayable.

Simple but fun
