Use of the limitation
Sprites have 2 colors. Other graphics in the game are mostly bichromatic. The "2 colors per sprite" limitation was also built into the game design itself, by mixing colored circles in a factory floor. The theme of "flow" was incorporated in an ever present stream of materials across the factory floor, which is not in control of the player, as well as in the cash flow of products sold. If the money reserve reaches 0 the factory goes bankrupt and the player loses.

Zero, I actually eat quite healthy 😅

A ton of fun to play! Loved the game loop and the 2x speed button. There seems to be quite a lot of depth to the construction strategy as the difficulty progresses.
I love the concept! And it was a lot of fun to play. It was simple easy to pick up, but always kept me engaged and thinking about how to better prepare for the next round (or color requirement).
The one thing i would like is to give the player the option of which color producer to remove if there are multiple color producers. During one of the rounds i had 3 red producers and once i completed one of the new colors it removed one of the ones i wasn't using to make the new color. I didn't realize it and it cost me my run.
The music was a little annoying and the sprites basic, but not bad. Overall a great game!
Thank you, I'm really happy the core gameplay kept you engaged!
That's good feedback, I'll definitely reconsider how the producers work, ideally without breaking the flow.
I struggle with art, but I'm working on it.
Sorry you didn't vibe with the song, I may look into adding more and letting players skip through them.
Thanks for playing!
I'm sorry it was too difficult for you :(
My tips are: focus on slower conveyor belts at first, be efficient with the lines, and try not to let too many balls fall to the ground or you'll waste too much cash.
Otherwise perhaps you'd like to try Version 1 which is considerably easier (available as a download).
After the rating period is over I'll consider adding difficulty options to make the game more accessible.
Having to mix the colours is a fun idea, requiring you to think more strategically about how you need to build the conveyor, and I like that the difficulty actually ramps up as you play further, introducing more than two colours that need to be combined. I like that the generators are constantly spawning colours, adding a natural time restraint that forces you to think fast, although maybe they could be slowed down a little at the start, just while the player is getting their bearings. Other than that small nitpick, it's a very fun little puzzle game!
Thank you kindly!
Congrats on reaching the white balls :D
Balancing difficulty was definitely the hardest thing to do in this game.
I considered slower generators but I was afraid it would mess up with the "flow", varying speed and all that.
Still, a good suggestion, and one I'll definitely explore later.
I liked the Concept and had lots of fun playing the game. though i did find the unwanted items annoying at times since there isn't a clear way of selling them. Really good overall!
Really fun game! Would be nice if there was a way to sell unwanted pieces (if there isn't and it was a skill issue on my part)
“You really had a lovely idea. The flow is clearly visible throughout the game. The music is a bit minimal and maybe a bit repetitive, but it works. The two‑tone style is super nice.”
I was very surprised by this game! I could play this for hours honestly. Great job!
I can't get past the tutorial! If there were a longer guide on how to play that would be good. I put down the conveyor belts and even tried doing a combination of the fast ones, but I would go bankrupt before the balls reached the end. It would just spend all the money before a single ball reaches the end, even with fast belts. Maybe I'm missing something
Thanks for the feedback!
You're playing version 2 which had a difficulty balance patch, perhaps I've made it a bit too hard, my bad.
If you stick to placing 3 regular belts the first ball reaches the end just in time (you'd only have 5 money).
I'll make the tutorial (first 3 products) easier in version 3, which I should be able to release in a few minutes, hopefully you'll have a better time then :)
EDIT: version 3 is out, please give it another try and please let me know if you still run into issues
A fascinating puzzle game. I feel like I could play this for a long time. It's beautifully crafted and engaging. Thanks for the in-game hints; they really help. This is a really, really cool game in such a short time!
Awesome idea, fun (and chaotic) game, though it felt a little unfair getting bankrupt right before selling
That could work, but i would add some time before you go into bankruptcy or make the threshold lower ( A negative number instead of 0), or maybe make it so that going bankrupt doesn't instantly take you off the game? (like, you can't move or change anything but you still have the opportunity to get back if your conveyor is perfect and you sell to get into positive money again)
Funnily enough the original design had you going into debt before bankruptcy, but the threshold always felt arbitrary...
Should it be -100? -200? How would the player know what is the failure point? Zero felt like a more intuitive value for failure.
Having a time window where you can't interact and are waiting for money to roll in is worth exploring, I wonder if it would "break the flow".
It would definitely make for some intense moments :)
