The base idea is good and the artstyle and music go very well together.

However I fail to see how it qualifies as a roguelike, it misses the most important part of roguelike games : procedural generation (except for the powerups maybe ?). The waves of enemies, their patterns and numbers could have been renadomly generated to qualify as a roguelike, but for now I don’t see it too much.

And the third wave is incredibly difficult, even by dashing out it is almost impossible to survive, and a bug in the game makes the 2nd wave not spawn when we play a new match, so we have to restart the game completely.

Cool idea with the Excel sheets! :)
Also liked the old school windows theme, but had some issue trying to figure out if I was moving or not.

Impressive and charming entry, with everything in the right places. F*ck those sheets man XD

One of the best for sure.

The idea is interesting although I have to say it's hard to say where you move or where the boundries are with the static background. I did like the power ups and the background related upgrades

Ever since the Flash era, I've kinda loved OS parody games. This one sends up the XP design with its classic green field and has some creative animations that imagine an aggressive iteration of the Excel suite. As a bullet hell with some light progression elements,  I really liked the idea of the game's upgrades being tied to its wallpapers, each of which evoke the Microsoft Paint suite aesthetic very well. It's actually pretty tough, and even with the welcome addition of a dash, the number and reach of those bar charts packs a mighty punch!

Didn't run in edge, but worked fine in firefox. I really like the idea of the game, and the windows xp background.

Also running into the same issue. However someone else managed to interact with the Start Menu, so perhaps it's browser specific or something? Personally on Chrome, Windows 11.
