How does your game represent "Slick"?
The player character and the boss both move in a very smooth and almost slippery manner, the game also features some surprising moments when (for example) the boss starts using some cool new attacks.

its a better boss fight than most full game releases have, great job :_)

Cool short vibey bullet hell fight. Very satisfying the way the boss's moves compose. The dodge is pretty slick, I appreciate that it stops your fire temporarily as well, so there's a small DPS cost to using it.

Awesome game! The mechanics felt very smooth, and the visuals are very polished. Well done!

That was incredibly challenging, but also very fun to play. I love the visual effects. Nice work!

Really cool! I love the simple aesthetic and the subtle coloring. It feels really slick to play. The dodge feels really big and with a lot of invulnerability which I really appreciate.

I wish there was some kind of indication for me to know if I was dealing damage. I'm pretty sure I was meant to be shooting the black circle but without some kinda feedback I'm not 100% sure I was supposed to be doing that.

I eventually saw the "Thanks for playing" screen but it didn't seem like the fight was actually over so I was kinda confused by that.

This feels really great to play though, well done!

I do agree with that, there is a health percentage displayed in the bottom right but there still is not that much feedback on hitting the boss apart from a little sound.

Smooth bullet hell game. Enter the Gungeon made me love this genre

The controls felt really good and I appreciate that it's not too difficult for a noob like me who isn't super great at games like this. I love how the different boss phases were timed to the music. It made the fight feel so dynamic. Great work!

this was the first submission I played (didn't really know how rating worked at the time)

and it's still stuck with me days later, as one of the best I've played, out of dozens at this point.

amazing work.

Straightforward gameplay - gets you sucked in right away!  Would love to see more of this in the future!

Simple and effective. A thesis on good boss design. Bravo.

Beat it on my first attempt with 4HP left ! Very immersive bossfight, got me on edge all the way to the end ! Very good choice of music !

Yeah it's pretty sick

What more can I say?

This is like a filet mignon type of game. You don't eat a filet mignon because you're hungry. You eat it because you love the way that it tastes. This game is like that. You move like an air hockey puck, except also you have a GUN and have to fight a CIRCLE who has a LASER. What a fantastic game. Bravo!

Absolutely gorgeous game! Everything culminated into one beautiful battle that was just the right amount of difficult! Quick, slick, very fun! Amazing work!

Pretty neat twin-stick shooter! The visuals are definitely strong here, and the CMYK asethetic works well for high contrast. The low-friction movement had me a bit worried at first, but even so, it still controls pretty well.

SLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICKKK!!!

Combat was crazy! Loved the ending sequence, it was super cool!!!

Beautiful music, smooth movement, cool moments, and it's impressive how many moves the boss has. I just wish there was more. Great stuff!

The dodging mechanic is very well done!

Insane. Such a fun experience. Great look, feel and such an awesome mix of boss attacks and patterns. Sektori was one of my faves of last year and this put me right back in that zone.

Superb! Simple, Stylish and Action-packed. You did an amazing job here!.  The only tiny bit I can mention is that I was outside the box and I was suddenly moved inside the box and that was confusing. Overall it was a great experience. Good job.

I do agree with that, I tried a few different approaches but I thought this was the smoothest way of doing it.
