This was a creative take on the original rogue , took a normally boring setting and made it alive with the theme and setting and interfaces were well modified from the original.

Reminds me of the times of good flash games but remade in ascii.

Wish there was a bit of building ambience and people arguing in meetings while they are rushing around to add to the world , otherwise , creative use of the theme rogue for a fun little office escape.

Oh my god! I really got frustrated irl lmao. I found 3 coins and I was going to buy an Espresso, but this guy kept telling me about his non-existing dog!!!!! He cornered me into the conference room and had to go around the table 3 times. Each time he was blocking the door lol. Too real, this one. Good job

Honestly very fun to play! Found myself screaming as I saw the Boss around the corner and ended the run because too many HRs caught me! Very creative twist! :)

This one was super fun. The modern setting is something you rarely see in the traditional roguelike genre ( and usually if you do it is after some sort of catastrophe where you have to fight zombies or the like ). Obviously nailed Rogue's particular aesthetics with the ASCii art and menus. The setting and focus on stealth remind me a lot of the roguelike sections of the game Liberal Crime Squad! Your lighting was super clean and the wide hallways and glass rooms really made the vision a center piece. Went through a couple times and this was the fastest time/turn count I got:

Edit: Huh it only shows the screenshot to me when I edit but imagine a screenshot that says "Game complete\n Time: 1 5 : 0 7"

I think it's a stroke of genius to take the established mechanics and presentation of the roguelike genre and harness them into something new. That feels like the whole point of this jam. And this does that very well - a completely different and unexpected direction; a tongue-in cheek stealth game!  The mechanics are all here but completely rebranded in service to the concept: barriers are busy coworkers getting in the way, upgrades are there to help ease off the stress of being at work, and the enemy is the boss, always on the lookout. The line of sight and map design makes for good twists and turns to try and avoid the gaze of the boss, and their layout is imaginatively suggestive of an actual office. Plenty of humor here - such as getting stressed by the colleague spewing corporate jargon.

Not too much constructive feedback here. I think it all clicks pretty well, and there's enough randomness to add a bit of strategy and depth. I think you could definitely expand the game idea by adding more varied layouts, but the execution is great. Enjoyed this a bunch and a great example of how playing with expectations and mechanics, even so slightly, can go a long way with making a game memorable.
