Somewhere in the back of my mind I felt like I'd heard about an Uzumaki pinball machine before, and after some digging I found what I was thinking about! In an interview from 2007, Cai Remrod, pinball collector and developer for Metroid Prime Pinball mentioned it among inspiration for that game. It doesn't specify that its Junji Ito's Uzumaki, but could be something to look into? I've sent him an email asking about it, will update here when I get a response!
