Summarize your game!
Silly frog-themed, grid based tower defense game with rhythm game elements. The player controls a “director” character which instructs all of the towers on the map of their next move on a rhythmic basis. Uses mouse and arrow keys/WASD for controls.
Please explain how your game fits the theme.
"The World is Watching" interepreted as "Leadership and Universality"
Unlike typical tower defense games where the towers are fully autonomous, in this game tower units require player direction. They all receive the same instruction via the player input simultaneously, no matter their type or location — thus, the world is watching you, in a leadership sense.
Did you use Generative AI to make any assets in your game?

Playability:
Rather difficult Tower Defense + Rhythm game combo. Well explained in the How To section so no surprises there which is nice.
Theme:
The theme didn't come through very strongly in this but that's alright!
Cleverness:
Really interesting combination that I haven't seen before Awesome job coming up with something new.
Artistic Style:
Nice and consistent crunchy pixel art. Looks great!
Very cool prototype, I could see this being a full game with a bit more thought around what kinds of input from the player could trigger different effects
Love the idea! It took me a while to figure out I needed to press the button only every 6 beats to hit, but pretty fun overall! Of course, It'd be cool if there were more towers/enemies and such, but as a prototype it looks pretty promising! Good job!
I like the idea of having to direct the attacks, it's a breath of fresh air from idle tower defence games. I would like to see some visual elements as well to show the timing windows for the attack input (accessibility is important). Overall great idea, please keep developing.
I like the added mechanic of having each tower attack in the same direction in a turn.
I'd like some visual indication of which (if any) direction I have chosen this turn. Now im just smashing the button all turn long just to be sure.
The beat being in sync with the movements is great
Thank you for the feedback! There is a little bit of visual indication, which is that the character in the center has a pose for each direction, but the sprite is pretty small so I could definitely stand to do more on that front; I'm thinking I would add a visual effect + animation accordingly.
First time doing game dev so I was in a bit of a time crunch, so I appreciate your positive comments :')
