This is the first eel-type game I've played. The art and animations are so slick. Very unique gameplay mechanic. Mantis the Mischief Maker is such a great villain, great intro story sequence.
I like the game over screens a lot, which is good because I saw them quite often. The crow kept running into the walls and glitching out when he was trying to get me (I was in the water). The aesthetic is really nice. The animals are cute. The music suits the game very well. I had some trouble with the controls, but this is a solid entry overall. Nice work!
I like the idea, with the slipperiness as a sort of resource to keep track of. Nice take on the theme, really fun :)
Nice art, animation, and use of theme! I couldn't master the charge jump though
Big fan of the art and the vibe! Though like others said, I didn't know about charging the boost, so it took a while to get used to the controls.
Yeah, my overall goal was to try and make a platformer without a traditional jump button, but it needed some more time in the oven. A second meter to indicate charging your dash would also have been a good idea.
I love the art and overall vibe! Definitely very slick. This would make a great rage platformer with some more refinement on the control.
Very nice art and vibe. How do I get over the pit here? I use the first ramp near the level start to catapult myself, but I can't pull it off with the ramp in the picture.
You can dash in the water. If you do it near the surface you can get some upwards momentum.
A very difficult game! It took a while to figure out that you could charge up your jump.. The art and animation is great! The movement is also super unique; I could see it being fleshed out a bit more into a full game, especially if you could charge up the dash in the water and potentially aim it with the mouse. There was a lot of love put into the game and it shows. Nice job!
Thank you for complimenting the art and animation. I spent like every night this week burning the midnight old, staying up too late drawing. So I'm glad you liked it.
Couldn't get past the first part unfortunately but I loved the art, the vibes, and the menus
Yeah I significantly over estimated the intuitiveness of the controls, could have stood for more outside play testers. I'm glad you liked the art.
