How does your game represent "Slick"?
With slippery movement and stylish, clean visuals, balancing a precarious stack of plates is a slick, but not frictionless, gaming experience.

Awesome game, very hard lol.  looks great, spaghetti vibes all around.  slick/10

Loved the meaty design of the characters. The physics of the plates were super slick as well. Couldn't really figure out how to drop plates so I just kind of flung them/let them fall but that was hilarious in its own right. Nice job! :)

I usually don't like playing games like these, but I have to admit, I enjoyed it a lot!

The visuals and music were amazing!

The movement felt really slick, you did a good job there

And the physics with the plates really were the cherry on top!

Great job and you deserve way more ratings! (though I understand that a >900MB file size can certainly discourage people to download)

Developer(+1)

Yes the file size is unfortunate for sure, and this was as small as we could get it! Thanks for playing and for the nice comment :)

i loved the physics on the waiter mechanics, was so funny to figure that out. i couldnt figure out how to drop plates i picked up on accident besides flinging them off my tray lol

Would have liked to make this more clear, but the "Dirty Dishes" sign on the sides of the kitchen hut is where you can dump plates. Thanks so much for playing!

Totally fair that I get fired for shattering 95 plates and delivering 18 ;D Really nice game, super fun and the graphics/animations look great.

I was not quite able to experience this game to it's fullest since my device really struggles with rendering the slick spaghetti people, however, the style and the music were both very cool.

Developer

I hate to hear you were having issue, but thanks for playing anyway! With a bit more time, we could have optimized so everyone could experience it.

The music is a total banger! I got too greedy with my stack and paid the price immediately. Physics felt frustratingly good. Great job!

Submitted(+1)

Turn around too fast and your stack is swaying 90 degrees and the customers across the conveyor belt ready to shoot fireballs... so spooky, and Slick, loved it

msuic is great, love the spaghetti people too

Very impressive! Great music, slick art, and the physics element is entertaining / frustrating the entire play time!

Amazing stuff, I had a great time with it! The graphics are great too :D

Music on this thing is an absolute banger. This game punishes me for taking too many plates at once and I love that. Thank you for the game :D

Nice game ! It would be so fun in multiplayer ! I wish I could drop plates when I've made a mistake :')

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the review! And you're right, multiplayer would be crazy, I hadn't thought of that.

Ooh also there's a Dishwasher at one end of the conveyor. You can drop plates there.

Great working with y'all! This is definitely the most polished game I've worked on so far!

Developer

Definitely agree with this. I regret saying that we "needed to add pesto" with <24 hours left and that "it would actually be pretty easy." Lesson learned without major consequence because this game still turned out awesome.

Developer(+1)

Jams are most fun when there's a bit of chaos. No regrets.

Great job team! The music was so much fun to write and the implementation and visuals turned out better than I could have imagined! Managed to beat the game on my 3rd attempt ;)
