I think the pixelation is a bit too extreme; sometimes I couldn't tell where the arrow was pointing. The driving and music are fun and I like the gameplay loop of upgrading in the shop, it's similar to our game.
The music was beautiful and the driving was very satisfying. A bit much on the pixelation but nice art style.
It’s a fun concept! I enjoyed the radio mechanic! I do think that the pixelated screen was a bit much though but overall solid project!
aw it's not working on my Ubuntu computer. I wanted to see the funny snowman
Nice idea, enjoyable loop. It would of been even cooler if the destination were somehow randomized between runs.
I liked that you could change the radio station. Nice music :)
Interesting idea with the visual filter.
Absolutely sick look! Very fun!
Coming from the creator of Drabville, this is such a high honor
Good game, slick! The sliding is very cool and i love the art style
Thank you for the slick comment :D
The sliding mechanism was really done well, it felt nice hitting those turns. I think the super pixel style made it a bit difficult to see when the turns were coming up.
I think I got so used to knowing were turns were and just going of memory then sight. Since the objects are so lowpoly it does make it kind of hard to see turns.
i like the loop and premise of the game. gameplay is well implemented. the art style is nice but the pixelization might be too much because it makes it difficult to see sometimes. good game!
The pixelation definitely does make it hard to see - I think if we tweaked it so it was more visible it might have helped :)
I like how the sliding/drifting was implemented
Thanks! We wanted something that felt a bit over the top so you had to drift/hand brake to take turns
This is definitely a good use of the theme. The sliding physics were well-implemented and the different radio stations were a nice touch. The day kept ending by itself. I'm not sure why. Maybe I was running out of gas? Either way, a solid entry. Nice work!
Thanks for playing the game :D We thought that mastering the sliding would be fun. Wondering if somehow the gas didnt reset after each day for you :(
Good game, a bit higher internal resolution would've been great!
Really like the music. I think the pixelation was maybe a little overkill and just made it hard to see. Randomzing the routes would've made it more interesting each run
We were back and forth on the degree of pixelation - looking back decreasing it a bit might have helped visibility a bit
Accurate depition of my driving experience in the past week in Canada. This game is honestly very fun. once you get used to the sliding, you can really start optimizing your route. Also kudos for the visuals. The old school arcade look is perfect. Good job :D
As someone in Minnesota, I have to agree haha :D We wanted a fun arcade loop something where it promotes making a path and optimizing it.
I wonder if the pizzas stayed warm sliding through the ice. Really liked the rock radio station, brought me DOOM-vibes. I was drifting all over the place :D Fun game, neat idea. Well done!
Thank you for playing the game :) Hopefully the pizza's were warm since how fast you delivered them
