No AI-Generated content - what exactly it means?

It would be great to better understand what is considered AI generated in terms of game jam and what is not - does that cover code generation (meaning no agents, no copilot, no intelli-sense, no auto-complete), or only assets like models, textures, sound and so on, but even on most of those a lot of current tooling supports edits using AI, like background auto fill and stuff like that. Anyone can expand on the rules guidance?

To add on that, is idea generation with AI also banned? Where's the line?

I don't think AI can be completely banned, even if they wanted how will the judges even be able to look through everyone's code and say if that is AI or not, same for Idea generation, AI does generate some decent ideas but at last its the developer adding their own spin and tweaking stuff to make it work.

I think the point is not to allow AI generated assets like art and sounds which are clearly AI, but helper tools like background auto fill and stuff they don't generate art do they, they just help in the process of making the final asset

Makes sense.

I think its just sorta an honor system everyone agrees to, just dont use AI, its not fair to the others who arent using it.

Question is what is AI in this context then? Like google search is using AI as well, asking chatgpt something, running windows, its not fair to use those if not agreed on that as that is use of AI.

i think your over thinking this WAY too much, dont worry about it. Just dont ask chatgpt to create the assets for your game

I mean using it for Code, sometimes makes me learn new things , like not just copy paste but i actually learn new ways, and understand certain complex parts, like some rotation calculations, which as answered in sec rather than post on some forum and hope that my question gets answered 馃槄
