Horror game enthusiast here! Of course I am a bit biased, I really love the idea of the game where 3 unknown creepy creatures are coming and you are forgotten... The only issues is I am a fellow GNU/linux user, so I have to go to the lengths of trying out utilizing wine to run your game. But overall it runs smooth! Though it feels like the game ran in an extremely low quality and low resolution version... Also the fish eye effect feels extremely dizzy for someone who has 3D nausea! Also I noticed in the credits you used the foot steps from bendy lol! Some features I wished are in here:

1. I really wish we can hear the different sounds that creatures outside make, makes the ominousness and unknown more creepy!
2. Im not entirely sure what the volume button is supposed to do, but it is actually a bit tedious & annoying to move around too much (plus my nausea), so I wish you can selectively tone down / turn off entirely the fish eye effect :)
3. I wished its more clear on what the errors are, as I was a bit stupid and cant find out what happened exactly xD, maybe like some clear noise(like fuse exploding or smth)
4. I wished there were more to this game, but I understand with the 2 days deadline, this is really impressive already!
Overall Good job as your first released game wohoo!

Wow, I really appreciate your kind words! And your feedback is invaluable! I'll be sure to keep your suggestions in mind as I update the game, and I'll 100% add some accessibility options. Thanks a ton for checking out the game!

Loved the visuals and audio of this big time, it's really up my alley! Loved the atmosphere, it was oppressive and off-putting and I felt on edge the whole time. My only thing is the text when I got caught wasn't displaying correctly, at least I think it wasn't unless it was intentional! Overall a good game and a great submission!

After surviving 350 seconds I gave up hope of ever getting rescued... Thats a very fun game! I especially liked the atmosphere. The only problem I really encountered was that after I turned volume of the speaker up to 3 I couldn't get it lower anymore. I meant to write this a long time ago but my account was restricted from commenting on other submissions. Love the concept!

Developer

Thanks so much for the kind words! The volume issue is actually intentional. The minimum volume the speaker can be is raised as the game goes on. I just ran out of time to explain that, lol.

That's fine) Actually makes the game harder

Oppressive atmosphere and mood, in par with the theme, well done !

Love the filter idea! Another game that proves it's the feeling, not the graphics, that matters in horror games. The atmosphere is really well done.

I just had a little trouble figuring out the controls, and some parts were loading in complete darkness, but they fixed when I hit Alt + Tab.

Thanks for your kind words! And I really appreciate you figuring out a solution to that weird darkness bug. I've been stumped by that ever since I submitted the game, and I may finally be able to fix it now!

The idea for the visuals looks really cool but I am having a hard time figuring out what to do :( I figured out how to press the buttons down, but I'm not sure what to do after. Also weird bug where the first time I launched the game, the control room was very very dark and the second time I launched I could see things fine?

Developer (1 edit)

Just uploaded a new version with a rewritten tutorial, so (hopefully) it's actually playable now. I couldn't figure out that weird bug, though.

I like the atmosphere, but it's very difficult to see anything because the filter is too strong, and I personally didn't understand what to do. I read something in the room with three buttons, but I don't know what to do next.

Developer

Just posted an updated version with some small tweaks that (hopefully) address those problems!
