How does your game represent "Slick"?
The Game mechanic of shifting gravity is very Slick, the animations of the robot and the different elements in the levels are also very slick, and figuring out the solution to a puzzle makes you think you're Slick!

This is a sleek little puzzle game, and I could easily imagine players getting very into it.  (No universes were harmed in the making of this playthrough. ; ) )

Insane levels of polish. The puzzles were super fun to solve especially timing the gravity shifting properly. Visuals were excellent and sfx were smooth as well. Amazing job and easily one of my favorite entries in the jam! :)

Developer

Thank you^^

The gravity shift mechanic feels so cool. The audio is great. The puzzles are satifying. I love the way all of the different machanics you have at your disposal work together. Nice work

Developer

Thanks!

Great game, felt like I was playing as TARS

Developer(+1)

I watched Interstellar 2 days before the Jam started, so TARS was definitely a big inspiration!

Very nice puzzles! I was surprised by how much personality can be imbued on such an abstract representation of a robot. The animations, sound effects, dialogues, and shifting states really brought the character to life.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I worked quite a while on Peppers' animations and sounds to make it feel like a character with it's own personality, so I'm glad that worked for you^^

Really fun puzzle game, the colours are all really great and the art style makes the whole game very readable, Only gripe which I have is that in certain levels which have a lot of buttons it can be kind of difficult to remember what button maps to which blocks so an indicator or colour-coding them would be very usefull. The ending was also very nice!

Developer

Thank you, glad you had fun^^

Yeah I think colour coding the different buttons would make things a lot clearer, or maybe have a line that goes from the button to the blocks they affect, like in portal. I didn't think of that, because I placed the buttons and walls, so I knew what each button does. Only when I saw other people being confused while playing the game I realized that they have no way of knowing what a button does, until they press it lol.

This was a really fun puzzle game!
The mechanics are easy to understand once you start playing, and I really liked the flat, abstract visual style.
I played using the keyboard, and the control keys were a bit close together, which was slightly tricky at times, but overall it was a great experience.

Developer(+1)

Glad you liked it!

A few people who playtested said the same things about the controls, especially shift for holding on annoyed some people. I thought about changing it to space or maybe rework the controls in general, but i didn't have enough time it in the end. Well, now i know for next time^^

Really clever puzzles. Finding out the sticking to face mechanic felt like a relief. Really nice job :)

Thank you^^

I managed to softlock myself so clearly I'm made of cutting edge brain technology. Otherwise very interesting puzzles ! Loved the ambience !

Developer

And here I thought that I made it nigh impossible to softlock yourself T.T I knew putting in the Level Restart button anyway was a good idea. Cool that you enjoyed it otherwise!

Before another universe die today i just wanna said: great and stylish puzzle game. Brown note soundtrack also great

Developer(+1)

Glad you liked it! I didn't even realize that that is a brown note, if you shat yourself while listening I'm very very sorry lol

Submitted(+1)

A lot of universes died because of my actions today 5/5

The block puzzles are incredible

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Those poor universes tho.. T.T

Challenging but rewarding puzzle game, I think the mechanic of holding onto the floor could've been explained in game earlier

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I wanted the player to solve some levels at the at the start of the game without that mechanic, but some of theses level turned out to be maybe a bit to hard (and annoying) without it..

Submitted(+1)

interesting idea, but i feel dizzy :)

Developer

Yeah, all the rotating can be a little disorienting x_x
I didn't think of that when I came up with the idea for the game

Submitted(+1)

maybe it was necessary to do the rotation without involving the camera

Developer

Yes, or at least have the option to deactivate the camera rotation in the settings somewhere..
Well, next time I'll try to do that

Dude great game i really enjoyed this one, i love the sfx, and the pitterpatter of peppers is really nice idk why lol

Developer(+1)

Thanks man, I'm very happy with how the sfx turned out, so it's cool you like them!
