Easy to pick up, tough to master. The clouds are very slick, and only get slicker when it rains for an increased challenge. How high can you get?

I loved the verticality of the game! It was such an awesome change of pace for me. Sure there are some issues with camera and difficulty balance, but it's a game jam game. If it's not buggy, it's not an original game 🤣
I'll be rating you solely based on the high potential this game has if worked upon. This could be a best fit for handheld/mobile devices IMO and I urge you to keep updating the game to its best version! Cheers 🍻

I've been playing this on my steam deck actually, and I do think it has potential to be a lot of fun, so I will for sure be updating it in the future!

Unfortunately, this game isn't insanely difficult because of the slickness, it's insanely difficuly because of the locked camera angle and the lack of depth perception.
I did like the idea of an "Only up", almost rage-game style combined with roguelike progression that asks you to reset your own progression to earn more power. But unfortunately the locked camera angle meant that all the power in the world didn't matter. You can and will easily miss platforms because they were too close or two far from the camera and you didn't realise until you're halfway through falling past it.
If this game was locked to 2d, or had at least one extra camera angle you could swap between, this would be much more fun.
I agree completely, and thanks for giving it a shot! The camera definitely needs to be a bit higher up and angled down more to add better depth perception, and camera movement/different angles would also help a lot.
Unfortunately for me I was super busy at work last week, and I wasn't able to truly finish this game. Different camera angles was 100% on my list and I just ran out of time. But that's the nature of the game jam beast. This is the first time I've participated in one, and I really learned so much.

They've packaged it such that the exe installs and unpacks a bunch of files. It's not malicious it's just put together in the same way a lot of malicious stuff is so windows picks it up with a warning.
Yeah big oof from me on this one. I've looked into this and now know the correct way to export my game project so this doesn't happen.. Sorry about that! I'll update with the better packaged version when I am able to, but it is locked right now for the voting period.
