Sound effects are really satisfying, and I like the fact that "time" is treated like a healthbar.  Really well polished as well :) Great job!

Very fun and snappy, The sound design is excellent! It's kind of addicting, honestly. Would be interesting to see this kind of game in roguelike format. Nice work!

This was great! Such a simple design but so replayable. Love the minimal artsytle, the sound design and the unique grid based bullethell system!

Love the sound design, very cool game!

What a cool game idea! I like the visuals a lot, everything was clear and understandable. I wish it told you what level you died on at the end, because i was too locked in to check before i died lol. Very fun!

Cool game! I found a cool little cheat strat. You can put your hands on both WASD and the arrow keys to let you really haul ass across the map. This is a fun one, well done!

Developer

Thanks! In true gamer spirit, you’ve already found other ways to play this game, congratulations.

Although I must say, you’d have to have extreme coordination to be able to pull this strat off 😂. Thanks for taking the time to play my game.

This was a super addictive, challenging, and unique experience! For some reason, the presentation reminded me of classic flash or pre-installed PC games with 2000's-era sci-fi graphics and sound effects. It was very slick! :P

(Also, it would be nice to be able to hold down a button to keep going in a specific direction, but I guess that's just a minor nitpick...) Overall, fantastic job!

Thanks for taking the time to review my game. I find this aesthetic quite pleasing myself, and I thought it would be a good way to present this type of game thanks for noticing.

Thanks for the feedback as well, I’ve noted everyone’s concerns and suggestions regarding this and if I make a final edit of this game after the jam, I’ll be making this one of my main priorities.

Holy crap one of the more addictive games in this jam!

Developer

Thanks for playing. That’s a really high complement you’ve offered, I appreciated it.

Hell yea! Dexterous 100 :) Haven't fingered my keyboard this hard in a long time

Developer

Wow, you actually finished the game. Truly admirable. Thanks for taking the time and effort.

Awesome game! My forearm is cramping and I'm already pressing Start Game again! Love the look and feel of this one. Nice job!

I’m glad the game is compelling enough to ignore physical discomfort even for a little while :D. Thanks for playing

Love the style, very sharp and polished look. Game play was fun, I got to like level 6.

Developer(+1)

Thanks, for taking the time to play. That’s a decent level to reach. Max is 10, but the later levels are way harder. you’d need to either be lucky or very meticulous, slick basically :D.

It's a well-executed idea. I really liked the sound design too. I don't know if the game has an ending, I didn't play it to the end. I wish there was a powerup that would make the projectiles bounce back at the enemy who sent them. Congratulations.

Thanks, for taking the time to play, and thanks for the suggestions, you must have been frustrated that you couldn’t hit back :D. I can understand the feeling, I did consider adding such a mechanic as well as more diverse enemies, and even more buffs and abilities, but I ran out of time, so your thoughts are very much aligned with the concept of the game.

I completely understand the "lack of time" problem; I experienced the same thing. For example, my game doesn't work on devices that aren't widescreen. This is because a canvas I added at the last minute doesn't scale properly on these devices and blocks people from clicking to the game :)

This game was really polished and juicy! The animations and style were well done.

One small bit of constructive feedback: It would be nice to be able to continue to move in a direction without having to button mash. Maybe its a skill issue but my hands were getting tired lol.

Developer

Thanks. That is some really good feedback, I struggled with that decision myself during development, as the ability to move continuously was introducing a loss of control or anticipation became harder, I was forced to use this method due to time constraints. Thank you for the feedback, in fact I agree, given more time, I’d prefer a more continuous movement or one that doesn’t require that much movement to ensure tactical moves instead of this near frantic headless chicken run it is right now :D.

I loved the aesthetic of this game!
