I liked the concept of this and the graphics were interesting to look at. The sonar was implemented well and is interesting as a game mechanic. Good job!

Thank You Bro :)

is it intended that I always move to the right? I couldn't tell if that was a bug or intentional; it definitely made the game hard, especially when the red flame enemies were introduced.

cool concept, though, has more content than most of the game jam games I've tried so far, and has a cohesive art style!

Developer

Thanks for the heads-up! That’s definitely a bug and not intentional. I appreciate you mentioning it — happy to hear you enjoyed the concept and visuals!

limiting amount of scanners is not the best option for such games, but I love the minimalism aesthetic

Developer

That’s a fair point! I limited the scanners intentionally to add tension , but I totally get how unlimited scans could feel better for some players. Really happy you enjoyed the minimal aesthetic though!

Fun game!

Found myself jumping in pitch-black parts from memory, fun idea.

You get stuck to walls mid jump, unless you let go of the movement key, then you fall, felt like this could be a nice feature for jumping again from the place you are stuck - but currently you can't do that, you have to let go to just fall. Would love to see the mechanic to jump again from the place you got stuck to, or just simply letting me slide against the walls, while holding the movement key

Developer

Thank you, and yes it will be very cool

Very cool take on the speaker special object thing. Love the ghosts chasing you around the place.
