Great aesthetic, though I'm sure the boss guy cheats.

The aesthetic of this game is really great, and the movement feels really smooth. I'm impressed by the cool and varied character design, nice job!

Love the visuals (I just wish things like barrels matched the pixel aesthetic). Exploring any space like this always satisfies me.

the visuals are great! how do i defeat ross?

Developer

Ross? If you mean the boss, you must write the words backwards

i got confused, because when i wrote rock, ro was white, the rest gone red. same with scissors, thats why i wrote ross :P

The spritework is brilliant, and I love the music! I feel you've captured an interesting concept of a dungeon crawler with rock, paper, scissors mechanics. Would love to see a more fleshed out version! Another commenter mentioned Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor and if elements of that were to somehow became a janken crawler? Puah, there is a lot of potential here! Great work!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback, I really appreciate it! I would also like to pursue this idea, and knowing that you liked it motivates me to do so! Thank you again :)

The music is absolutely banging! The graphics are also nice. Turns out my luck is just terrible. Anyone who says rock–paper–scissors isn’t cool should watch Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor—after that, it’s impossible to think of this game as simple.

Really great work overall, and best of luck with your future games!

Developer

Thank you!! :)

Cool idea! I love the art style when you're exploring the dungeon. That retro first person style really comes to  life here. I struggled a bit with the actual combat. The enemy with the paper immunity was particularly difficult because they kept throwing rock. Not sure if I'm missing something or just unlucky haha

Developer

I think it was a coincidence because everything is random in the selection, so the run may have been unlucky for you!

Thank you for the feedback :)

Incredible look to this game!

Pretty slick - I wish there was some more mechanics to influence the r p s game but it feel like a toss up. If there were some element where maybe you have higher odds of them doing something if there an ogre (more likely to do rock). Cool art design and music to

Developer

Yes, I had also thought about helping the player in some way, in fact the idea of the items was also for that reason. Thank you for your feedback, unfortunately with the tight deadlines I wasn't able to implement everything and the RNG is quite noticeable.

I would like to continue working on it in the future :)
